The Air Conditioner unit was set 16c fan was work but was only blowing hot air after an hour I decided to open the window as it was cooler outside. We stayed 5 nights starting May 28 to June 2 an one night on June 26. I had told the staff which reported it to Frederico that the A/C was not working. When I returned on June 26/2024 the Air Conditioner was still not working. But this time it was much hotter than the first 5 nights that we stayed. It was unbearable I had to open the window to cool down the room. Once the room cooled down to the outside temperature. I closed window to get some sleep as I had to get up at 5:30am in the morning for my flight. But at 2:00am in the morning it got so hot that I had to get up and open the window for 1 hour just to cool down the apartment it was cooler outside that it was in the apartment room. Unfortunately my wife refuses to stay there and I can't blame her, as we are already planning another trip next year.

Nothing worked in my room. I recently stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, and I cannot recommend it. The AC was broken and they wouldn't/couldn't fix it. There is no fan either so we were in the hot room for 4 nights. The shower could not drain - water was spilling onto the bathroom floor and the water was still sitting in the shower 6 hrs later. No more than one person could shower in one night! The drainage issue didn't get resolved until the last night of my 4 night stay. Housekeeping didn't replenish the toiletries or toilet paper at all! We ran out of them. There is no front desk. There is a staff person working somewhere in the hotel for part of the day only. Management never said anything/apologized/compensated about all the issues we had. I asked the staff person to tell management and I wrote to management twice but they just ignored me. Stay away from this hotel.

Small but cozy
The hotel is in a good location, short distance to the buses to the airport. There is a Tax, I had to pay there, not sure why. I never encounter to pay extra tax, the Filipino, in charge of the receptionist, very attentive, very nice guy. They need to have a bigger sign of the hotel hard to find the first time. The room is very small, and the shower extremely small. Overall, very clean.

It was close to restaurants, bus stop and Vatican. I personally would have preferred to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, it did have a small fridge but unfortunately ours was broken and we did not see anyone to report it to though we were given an Italian number to Call but we didn’t feel it necessary, also a shortage of plugs as the room only had two and one of those was broken, again we managed. Christopher who served the breakfast was excellent and a credit to the hotel, though we only had one breakfast out of 3... our itinerary unfortunately did not coincide with the breakfast timings but it was plentiful and enjoyable.

Negative: the room that I was assigned to was big and nice but there were a lot of broken items in the room. There was a broken refrigerator that fell out when I tried to open the door. The toilet seat cover is broken and the bed kept on squeaking on every little movement I made while I was sleeping. The bed was not a real bed. One of the twin beds was already sagging down. Positive: Staff are great, nice and helpful. Tricia and Christopher are very customer oriented and were willing to solve problems promptly. Christopher tried to fix the bed to remove the squeaking sound.

Great local hotel for tourists
Lovely, modern place to stay. Easy to go to the vatican and city by walk or bus. Only the beds could be a little more comfortable, but that was alright. We had a great stay in Rome and thank the helpful and friendly staff.

Two Nights in Rome
The service was great and the staff was very helpful/accommodating. There were renovations ongoing during our stay so it was a bit loud early in the morning. In terms of locale, it is a 10 minute walk to the Lepanto metro stop. That is convenient for seeing any attractions near the coliseum area. As well, it was a relatively simple 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride to The Vatican. The surrounding area is nice and quiet but still has restaurant and bar options.
