Owner was an hour late to let us into the property. Screamed and yelled at us. He threw my phone on the ground and made sexual gestures in front of my 6 year old son. Stay far away from this place!

This is a very cozy and personal place. The staff calls you to confirm your time of arrival the day before and/or same day to ensure you have a smooth check-in snd that someone will be available to let you in. The area is wonderful. This is your typical bed and breakfast with much care. I will definitely recommend it.

Our stay at Etruska was very pleasant. The room is very nice and newly remodeled. Fregenie is welcoming and pleasant host. He made our stay for 3 nights very comforting and enjoyable. We will definitely be back to this hotel.

What a great experience!
Hotel is an apartment unit converted to full hotel rooms with a common lobby inside the unit. We called the number at check in and the attendant met us within 5 minutes and gave us a great check-in experience with lots of tips about the area. The rooms were perfect, just like a regular hotel but the lobby offered charm of a b&b. Wine, juice and pastries were left for guest daily and the lobby had most kitchen items you would need. The daily breakfast coupons for the café in the building were an added plus and the pastries were delicious. The off-site attendant and the onsite cleaning person were friendly, approachable and full of information. Trastevere is full of authentic Italian restaurants and bars and a short walk to markets and shopping. We could not have asked for more! thank you so much!

Nice and comfortable room for a family of 4. The facility consists in an apartment with multiple private rooms (and bathrooms) within a building in the heart of Transtevere. Several good restaurants options in the area. Pretty close to Campo dei Fiori and about 30 min walk from main attractions (Pantheon, Spanish steps etc.). We had a very comfortable room for a family of 4. A good spot, recommended.

Good place for a few nights stay
The actual room was comfortably, clean with plenty of toiletries, water etc. Its very close to restaurants and cafes. If you are driving, there isnt a very convenient place to park your car and unload so bare that in mind. We were able though after some frustration to find paid parking on the street not too far from the place, which worked out well as we were only staying for a night.

To be clear this is not a hotel. There is no front desk or anyone to provide assistance. This is actually a multistory apartment building from around 1920 or so. Some of the apartments have been divided up so each former apartment is now multiple rental rooms. To be clear, each room in the former apartment is now a separate rental. The rooms have been remodeled and they have new tile and bathroom fixtures. The area is very walkable and seemed safe. The courtyard and common areas of the building are dirty and not maintained. The elevator is a death trap. The room is very small and contains no furniture other that a bed. The mattress is similar to what you would find along side the road or perhaps in a homeless camp. It is impossible to sleep on and just looking at it produces anxiety of what diseases if might contain. This is a fine location and an ok room as long as you do not plan on sleeping and avoid the elevator. Other than the bed this is better that a youth hostile, but not by much.

Nice size and layout. Check-in was a little difficult as we were unsure of where exactly to enter. A better description of how to get to the B tower when you enter the building would be helpful.

This was a great value property for those staying in Trastevere! Communication was easy and prompt. The location is excellent. The room is clean, clearly newly renovated and is very secure. There is a safe in the room and a very strong AC for those summer months!

Very nice, clean and modern room. Excellent communication! In a cute area with authentic Italian food next door. They are very professional and answer your calls quick. They greeted us with goodies. We felt safe and liked the area. There is graffiti in some buildings but was very safe. Highly recommend and would stay here again. They do have a small elevator you can use to get to 3 rd floor where we stayed. We walked the stairs up by choice as my mom and sister sent us the suitcases up the elevator. We opened the door to get them. Then my mom and sister came up. We had 4 heavy suitcases and a lady informed us not to put all the suitcases together it was too much! It was a fun experience loved it. You’ll know what I mean when you get there. Do recommend it.

We went to Rome to see our daughter who was studying abroad. The location was perfect: close to her apartment, within 30-40 minute walk to Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon. Restaurants and Cafe's were a 1-5 minute walk. The room as clean, staff was friendly. We had them arrange transport from the airport to the hotel. She was there when we arrived to check us in. We would stay there again and would recommend it.

Everything about our stay at Rhea Silvia Luxury Trastevere 2 was perfect! The reception by Fregenie was wonderful. The location was in the midst of restaurants (Otello and Nannarella were two stand-outs) and an active nightlife, but the room remained comfortable and quiet. Cleanliness standards were high and the complimentary water, soda, coffee and tea were a nice addition. We would definitely return to any of Rhea Silvia’s apartments in the future. Highly-recommended.
