Our only complaint was the smell; there seems to be an old odor in the walls or something. But the staff was friendly especially the kitchen staff, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Although the room we stayed in could use a “facelift” it was extremely clean, well appointed and had excellent A/C. Pool area was very nice and the food was good. Proximity to airport definitely a plus but the hotel shuttle only runs once per day at 6:30am. Car service available but charged $35

This is a beautiful, high end hotel. Not a fan of the food but managed. Also, the gift shop was closed and there was no place to buy necessities. Very unusual fir a Marriott property. Otherwise would love to stay here ahain.

This property is located near to FCO airport. We stayed here for one-night to catch a plane next day. The location is far from city center and no transportation around. The hotel provides shuttle transportation to city center with a fee (8 euro one way). The hotel is huge but very old. The carpet is dirty, could be very old. We are worrying about bed bugs in our room. Fortunately, no bed bug was found in our room.

Was given conflicting information when inquired about availability of a vacuum to have travel bags sealed to be packed. Later on same day of inquiry was able to have a team member bring a vacuum and seal the bags with my presence in the room per security policies. Overall was impressed by the property and service from team members. Would highly recommend this location.

This hotel is perfect for a brief stay, being only 10 minutes from the airport. However, transportation could be a challenge; the shuttle bus driver may not be very friendly or welcoming, and you might feel pressured to take a taxi due to its location outside the city center. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, and another guest mentioned that the train could be a viable option as well.

Hotel is good for quick stays. It’s a 30-35 minute drive to the city center. WiFi was on and off. Breakfast was okay, I wouldn’t get the scrambled eggs it was just mashed up hard boiled eggs. Pool was very nice and the dinner menu was amazing from the restaurant inside. Staff was helpful but very long waits at reception. Shuttle service isn’t all the time and only once to the airport per day.

Great Hotel if connecting on a flight as it is close to the hotel. Unfortunately though, it is further out of the city and requires transportation to and from to see all the sites. This can be costly. As for the rooms, they were very clean with ample towels. However, the phones and blow dryers did not work. While the room had a tv there was no remote to operate it. Overall, it is a great hotel if you are planning on staying for the night, if, though, you intend to spend time in the city you need to consider transportation to and from in your travel plans.

The property appeared beautiful, but the cleanliness of the rooms seemed not as good. Dusty crumbs on the floor. Also, the selection of food was limited. The service at the lobby bar was not very good or attentive. I found myself clearing my own table and getting up to ask for things that I ordered.

For the price, better off booking something cheaper and better. The hotel does not do room service for food, I had to go down to a restaurant which is by the pool side to order and bring it back to the room. The call to get more coffee took 30 mins and involved multiple unanswered calls. The place is weirdly situated, there is public transport but that is every 50 mins. There is 1 airport shuttle at 630am in the morning, why only one and why only at 630am. We had to eventually take the cab and realized holiday inn was right across the train station. I would not reserve the property again and probably Marriott in general.

My wife and I selected this hotel because it was a Marriott, and I have come to expect and have the same customer service that I have experienced previously with other Marriotts. I certainly did not at this one. Here is why I gave this hotel a terrible rating. Our flight from Trieste to Rome was cancelled by the airline and we were rebooked for the next flight to Rome the next morning at 6:30am. When the flight was finally cancelled at 10:00pm, I attempted to contact the hotel to explain the situation and cancel our reservation, however, no one ever answered the phone at the hotel desk. When I arrived home, I reached out to Orbitz to help request a refund from the hotel since the flight cancelation was out of our control. Orbitz was told by the hotel that I was a "no show" and so per policy they could not cancel or refund my stay. I had every intention to "show" I just had no flight to do so. I will never stay at a hotel that treats their guests this way. I encourage others to do the same. If the hotel changes position, I would be happy to revise my ratings of my experience.

We stayed there for just one night. Had been stranded in Rome for a couple of days and were exhausted. You walk into the lobby and think you are walking to paradise. Misleading. The room was hot, the AC did not work. Called 4 times and was told they were sending someone and never did. We needed to rest and the temp in the room kept going up instead of cooling. The room was stinky and even the linens smelled bad. I could not wait to get out of there. It was disgusting and the staff were rude and did not care. I guess they survive off of fly by passengers so they simply do not care. Stay away!
