A nightmare. Raul, the alleged manager, was almost never there during the four days of our stay, We never even saw him until we had been there two days. (One of our fellow guests was kind enough to check us in; fortunately the front door had been left open or we would have had to sleep on the street.) The marble in the bathroom was a luxury touch; but we would have greatly preferred to have a soap dish in the shower. (Try showering without one.) Our experiences in Italy have been enough to make us swear off staying in urban B&Bs entirely, but this place was the worst of the worst.

The manager of the hotel was very helpful and accommodating. I loved the location because it was quiet, safe and close to good restaurants. The amenities were wonderful and very clean. I would definitely recommend for big groups because you would basically have it all to yourself since there aren’t many rooms.

Liked the location. It was very near to some enjoyable restaurants, the Vatican and San Angelo Castle/museum. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good. Try eating dinner at Margo (first floor of the building) when you go.

The guy Raul was very friendly and helpful, location is very good. The building is not clean, the building is old. It is not a good choice for Rome visit.

The bedroom smelled when we got there and the one person who cleaned all rooms did it in an hour. Bathroom was dirty, we were left without toilet paper. It was not a clean place.

Excellent location walking distance to everywhere
The hotel staff, Raul and Mario, were most courteous and helpful, always with a friendly smile. The hotel was well situated, next to the Vatican, and within walking distance to most of the sites in central Rome. We would definitely choose this place again whenever we visit Rome. Mario's cappuccinos are the very best. Arrivederci Roma!

My visit
Lovely little hotel only about 6 rooms very handy for visiting the Vatican City and only a 10 min walk from the nearest Metro station for visiting the rest of Rome. Very friendly staff and nothing was no trouble. Even though check out was 10.30 quite prepared to let you keep the keys if you wanted to leave your bags there. Would recommended for a short visit to Rome loved the antiquated lift in the building.

Hotel is nice, quiet and located centrally. The staff (Raul) is super nice and check in is fairly easy. It is a very good value for the price you pay. Close to Vatican City like 10 minutes of walk and also to some other attractions. The resturant that Raul recommended had excellent food and do try it. Breakfast is just coffee /donuts and orange juice. But it is ok and just on the same floor as the rooms. We liked our stay.

Wonderful stay
The bed and breakfast was like having your own little apartment in Rome and it was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, too! The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was central to everything we wanted to see within walking distance. And that was everything. We would definitely stay there again.

We found the 3 rooms we occupied were okay -- not as clean as we would like (dust and dirty floors), and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. However, breakfast service was excellent, and Raul (hotel manager) was very personable, friendly, and eager to help with questions and concerns. The air conditioning did not work in one room, but we were able to open the window and fortunately it was not that hot at the time of our stay, With a few upgrades, our rating would be excellent, instead of good.
