Our stay was fine although 2 items were unfavorable. First, the tavern and restaurant were understaffed and under supplied. Those working did the best they could but we expected better after a long day on the road. For example, food was cold and they ran out of what I wanted to order. Second, a resort fee was added on to our bill with no prior notification. This was not disclosed by Hotels.com or the facility itself.

The property itself wasn’t bad. When we arrived at the hotel it was 3:30, there were about 5 guests in front of us. Check in time was supposed to be at 4, so we knew we were a little early. The line was taking forever with 3 people working. We didn’t get to the check- in desk until 3:50 and were told our room wasn’t ready yet and to give them until 4 to get it finished. The gentleman let me know he would keep following up with house keeping and get us in our room as soon as possible. We sat in the lobby and watched chaos unfold. There were about 30 people in line to check in at this point. We kept checking in every 20 minutes and finally at about 5, the front desk guy went to our room himself to see if it was ready. When he came back he let us know our room was almost ready and we could go ahead and head that way. I would say in the hour we sat and watched about 5 people got helped and the line just kept getting longer. I don’t know what the problem is here, but it really needs to be addressed. A women passed by and let us know it took them 2.5 hours to get checked in the day before. Management needs to figure out how to get this place under control.

Not sure what was going on with their check in process but it was an absolute DISASTER!!!! Only got worse as time passed. On Saturday evening there were over 100 people standing in line trying to check in. Our room was not even serviced by house keeping. Will NEVER stay here again and do not recommend to anyone else! Management should be fired at this property.

This place is like heaven. It's a great spot to relax with the family. We're loving the lake view and the rooms are awesome. Now, for the bad news. I found myself in a rather challenging situation at 1 AM, along with my family, including a one-year-old child, when we arrived at the resort gate. Unfortunately, the gate was closed, and we were not informed about the existence of another main entrance. This lack of information caused a great deal of inconvenience and frustration for us. Additionally, the GPS system was only recognizing the one entry point that we were at. It would have been extremely helpful if there had been a link on your website that could have guided us to both entrances. And one more thing to add, the starbuck is closed at 2pm. That is only cofee place you have in the resort and it closes at 2pm

Beautiful location within Stone Mountain Park. Our room was lakefront and offered a gorgeous sunrise on the quiet outdoor balcony. The property itself does not feel like a resort although it is in a resort setting. Much more decor is needed in the lobby & throughout the extensive common spaces/hallways to make your feel welcome and to make this feel like a resort once again. The rooms have been updated within the past few years but more ambiance is needed to make your stay feel luxurious. Staff is efficient but do not make you feel welcome. There is more to making a traveler feel like they have made a good choice in lodging other than saying welcome & hello without truly meaning those words. More information on the Park is needed for folks regarding food & activities. The pamphlet provided by Stone Mountain is okay but not a comprehensive list of options just outside the park entrances. Stone Mountain feels deserted, even on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. Desolate parking lots & not great signage. Less than helpful/welcoming staff at the Skyline Tram Gift Shop. The park itself is beautiful but the attractions feel a little dated & worn out. Hotel could be magnificent, it just needs some more pizzaz! Restaurant within the resort has a very limited & expensive menu. Would stay again for the view from the room but not much else makes me want to return.

We have visited property throughout the last 8 years. Unfortunately it has seen better days. Staff is nice enough, however the cleanliness and maintenance of the property can use a bit more work. Food is good on property. Must try the grilled burgers out by the pool, very good! We will be back for the beautiful scenery and proximity to Stone Mountain.

At one time, this would have been a nice play to stay. But… it has aged poorly. The wax on floors was coming off, the floors were scuffed, the molding was dirty. The pool was cloudy. Saw a huge roach crawling toward the Starbucks counter and had to notify the employee. The trail behind the hotel had a pair of old underwear, some old latex gloves as well as several other various trash items like beer cans and drink bottles. We still had a good time. Employees were very friendly at front desk but not very knowledgeable of things going on at Park, not that they should but they said there would be no laser show when there was. Coffee in room was poor quality. Out of the three coffee cups in our room, two were wet and unusable (paper cups). No coffee provided in lobby as most hotels offer, only water. There was a Starbucks but want ioen but in the mornings. Overall, I didn’t feel like I was staying at a resort. Would have preferred a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express.

It was only ok. The advertised amenities were shut down for the week we were there, the staff wasn’t helpful and there were hidden fees. It’s not worth the trip.
