An interesting hotel which I really enjoyed. It’s marketed within an inch of its life but it’s all entertaining stuff. The rooms are pretty small so you need to go all in with the concept. It was perfect for a solo traveller. I’d almost worked out how to turn the lights on and off by the end. Breakfast was fine with most of the basics well covered. Great location, high standards, friendly staff, good value. Maybe not for you if you wanted flunkies and facilities at your beck and call. But I did rather like it!

We loved our 2-night stay here in early August 2024. The hotel design is simple and fun and our room was just right for a brief stay. We are seniors and we enjoyed how the iPads were used to control functions in the room. Staff were universally friendly and helpful and Shaira and Luigi deserve special thanks for their cheerful help and suggestions. We ate here for breakfast and one dinner and very much enjoyed it. The location is ideal for walking to many of the attractions - right beside the cube houses and a short walk from the Markthall. Nearby is also a surfing park, which was very entertaining to watch. We would highly recommend citizenM for both the overall concept, and execution - well-priced and good value for money. Oh, and by the way, Luigi makes a great mojito!

Really good. New to citizenM and really liked it overall. Great bed, compact and modern room. Only weird thing is the shower/toilet combo where you can’t prevent the toilet area floor from getting a bit wet (soaked if you’re not careful). Apparently this is the same for all citizenM hotels.

Never had a bad stay with any Citizen M! This one was no different. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff are all friendly and helpful if needed. Great location for what I required. Rotterdam Blaak station is a 60secs walk away, connecting with Rotterdam Centraal.

Staff was super helpful. They have a great breakfast with unlimited coffee. Only downside is the room is minuscule. They encourage you to come to the lobby/living room, which has lots of seating areas.

Great stay
A lovely welcome. Hotel is away from the street so no traffic noise. Location is great very close to a Metro station. It is right on top of the Cube houses and a short stroll to the Merkhat which is a must visit. Rooms are on the small size but are really hi tech and cool. A special thank you to Luigi who assisted us with a charger and advise on using the Metro.

We had a great stay at citizenM Rotterdam! The hotel is right beside the Rotterdam Blaak station, so transportation was a breeze. Seamless self check-in, and all the staff were so kind and helpful. Loved the ability to borrow bikes, and the bar made some excellent cocktails. The rooms are small as pictured (no surprises there) so best suited for a single person or a couple. The room controls were super easy to use and we slept great (the blackout blinds were TOO good, we ended up sleeping in super late one day!). We would definitely stay again!

Inexpensive, but Adequate
Service was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The shower, toilet, sink, closet, were all adequate and clean. The room was so small that the king bed had to be entered from only one side, one person then the other. During the night, he further person had to crawl over the other. The TV was great, as was the use of the IPad for lights, entertainment, and curtains among other things.

Fun fun place!
Super fun place with fun friendly staff who were all so helpful! Enjoyed the bar area, the view, the fun decor. Breakfast is a great deal as well. Area is walkable but away from the loud party zone. I’d definitely stay here again! The bed was SO comfortable! And shower was awesome!
