Needs lots of upgrades
Wallpaper was peeling of wall , carpet was dirty, the refrigerator did not work properly and it smelled of weed on our entire floor. Beds were not comfortable and furniture in the room had lots of wear and tear. All staff was extremely nice is the only positive. Compared to other Embassy Suites by Hilton this one was in poor condition.

The bedroom sink was clogged and couldn’t be used. The bathroom smelled of urine the whole trip. After showering the ceiling was wet and dripped everywhere. Our room was only partially cleaned and the garbage was not emptied.

Very dated and worn. Pretty sure all the rugs, furniture, bathroom and bedroom decor and fixtures were original. It was just dirty and dank. Worst of the many Embassy Suites weve stayed in over the past 20 years. Needs major refreshing and would return due to convenient location to downtown if it was updated. Until then we won't be returning.

We had a reservation for five people (three teenagers) in a room with two queens and a sofabed. When we showed up, they told me they were oversold and only had single king bed and sofabed. The room itself wasn’t particularly clean and the sofabed should have been retired long ago. Nothing special about this place.

The room was large and very spacious which was great. Upon opening the window curtain to look outside, i found large amounts of spiderwebs with spiders still in them in the window frame. Made me nervous and i quickly closed the curtain. In your other locations you always had a self serve waffle maker in the breakfast area. This location did not. I didn't realize waffles were available, but you needed to ask the omelet chef. Maybe consider making that an option for the future.

I stayed at this property a week and I am not extra impressed or anything. This hotel is old and needs upgrades. Its not horrible, but I definitely noticed.There was a leak from the ceiling in my room (I did take a photo of it). I reported the leak to the front desk. I don't even know if anyone checked it out. Nobody offered for us to move rooms or anything.The bathroom sink handle fell off twice and we had to put it back on. I had to keep telling staff I had 6 people in my room as they kept leaving only 4 towels and washcloths in the room. The free breakfast was good and the staff for that was awesome. I have mixed feelings about staying here again. I stayed here because the Marriott was full due to a soccer game that was going on. We did enjoybthe free break and cocktails at 5:30 pm. The housekeeping could be better too! They didn't vacuum our room the whole week, I know because of things I could see on the floor and the ceiling was falling a little near the connecting room door and it stayed the whole time.

An Unpleasant Stay
Staying at this hotel was not a pleasant experience. As soon as I entered the room, there was a foul odor in the room. There was dirt in the crevices and the tub is peeling. The furniture is old; there are tears in the chair upholstery. There are stains in the carpet. What is more is that the hotel dares to charge $7 for bottled water. What an insult. I only stayed the night bc I was exhausted from my trip. However, I cancelled my entire stay save for that night and checked into another hotel. Needless to write, I never will stay at this hotel again. BTW, where is the outside hanging greenery? Every plant trough is either empty of filled with leftover dirt. This hotel has got to do better.

Tough review
Check in was a nightmare. Not enough knowledgeable staff to handle the check ins. Hotel service staff and restaurant staff were great. Very considerate and friendly. Hotel rooms are in need of upgrades and frankly, quite dirty. Carpet had huge dirt spots, couch had dirty spots; light bulbs were not working or missing; shower shampoo container was empty. Check out was okay. But again, the check in was just plain bad. We reserved eight rooms total. One room was so dirty, so battered that two of our group had to request a different room. They were given a half price discount, which was appreciated, but all the other rooms we had were in great need of some simple TLC. I’ve always trusted Embassy Suites. May have to reconsider that full trust.
