Charming, according to ecological guidelines converted farmhouse in a beautiful location with spacious gardens and stunning views of the mountains.

Allgaeu alpine landscape with numerous adventure opportunities: World-famous royal castles, 40 km away, swimming pond at the site, in the winter, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing 40 km away. Beautiful, historic town of Kaufbeuren 4 km, thermal Schwangau is 40 km, Therme Bad Woerishofen 30 km, to Munich 95 km away. Culture and nature in an ideal connection.

The apartment:
Ground floor:
Large living room (75 sqm) with an open, modern kitchen with full equipment (dishes for 12 people, ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer). Large dining table with seating for 8-10 people, spacious sitting area with TV, music station, additional sleeping for 3 persons, tiles with underfloor heating, fireplace, bathroom with washing machine, wireless Internet access available.

First Floor:

Family holiday
We had a great time at the property. The house was clean and well equipped. We were well placed to visit the castles which was one of the big reasons for our visit. Anna was very helpful with all of our requests. We would stay again if we were in the area!

Elegant house in beautiful location
This is a spacious and very well equipped house, with a balcony looking across the fields to the mountains. Anna was very welcoming and her great artwork and interior design distinguishes all the rooms. Apfeltrang is a small village but ideal for exploring the region.

Perfect Bavarian Holiday
We have just spent two very happy weeks in this beautiful house. The location with the alps in the background, the luscious green countryside all around us and the gentle ringing of cowbells nearby was very special. We were able to walk around at our leisure and picnic in the nearby woods. The apartment was stylish and very comfortable. Our hostess Anna was so kind and helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we had the best time. We especially loved day trips to Füssen to see Neuschwanstein Castle and a high point was a very relaxing boat trip on Forggensee. A little scary but recommended is the Tegelberg cable car ride, giving another view of the castles. From the house we were able to take a jaw-dropping car ride through the alps to Innsbruck and enjoy the picturesque Old Town area. A visit to Dornier Museum at Bodensee Airport was an interesting day out & then lunch at the harbour looking out towards Switzerland. The local hotel/restaurant/beer garden Hubertus provides excellent cuisine, make sure you ask for English menu. Not forgetting the locally brewed beer which was much appreciated. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Great place to stay in a gorgeous part of bavaria
We had a fabulous week in southern Bavaria. The accommodation was lovely and spacious, very clean and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony was stunning and breakfast there every morning was very special. The location was great for exploring the area which has a lot on offer. Anna the host lives next door. She was very helpful when we needed information but also respected our privacy at other times. I would recommend this as a great destination for a family holiday.

Stunning property in a beautiful village, with amazing views of the area & mountains.
We had a fantastic time at Anna’s house, which comfortably housed our 2 families, 9 people in total. It’s very tastefully furnished and well layed out, so you have a real sense of space. The balcony area outside is perfect for taking breakfast while watching light changing on the mountains in the distance, the surrounding area and gardens are also beautiful. The location was perfect for our 5 day stop, exploring the local towns and venturing into the alps and nearby Castle’s. There are great local shops close to the town, also a great treat was the fresh milk from the farm over the road. If you like beautiful scenery and exploration or just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful walks in the local forest, Anna’s house is perfect. Oh, and there is a micro brewery at Hubertus the local restaurant in the village, which also serves fantastic local food. Anna was a great host and really helped us explore the area, we loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Beautiful home away from home!
We spent the days between Christmas and New Year's at this beautiful property and loved it. We were 9 adults and had plenty of room. However, if the visitors are not family, the apartment is better laid out for a party of 6 than 10 visitors. The place is very nicely furnished and decorated.We enjoyed the Christmas tree the owner had set up for us. The kitchen has everything needed - we even made pizza and a Black Forest cake from scratch. The bathrooms are modern and the heating works very well. The view of the Alps from the apartment is stunning! In addition, the town of Apfeltrang was very nice with many opportunities for hikes starting from the house without having to drive anywhere. We enjoyed getting fresh milk from the farm across the street which has an automat where milk can be purchased 24/7. A special treat was the local beer which we picked up from the micro brewery at Hubertus Hof down the street. We will certainly keep this apartment on our list of favorite places to stay.

Klasse Start ins Neue Jahr
Wir waren 5 Leute und haben dort den Start ins neue Jahr gefeiert. Die Wohnung war sehr schön und hatte eine tolle Ausstattung. Die Wohnung ist äußerte geräumig und bietet eine klasse Aussicht auf das Alpenpanorama. Für einen Aufenthalt mit mehreren Personen im Allgäu die beste Wahl. Gerne wieder.

Bavarian alps
We have just returned home from a wonderful stay at Annas house, beautifully presented and laid out with the added bonus of Annas art work on display. There was 2 adults and 2 children in our group and we found that because the house can accommodate far more we had plenty of room with both boys having there own bedroom's. We found that the location was ideal for many of the sights we visited were about just over an hours car drive away. Places we would recommend are Skyline park the lake at Fussen was great to swim in as well a boat ride, also Munich was a good city to visit the boys liked going around and seeing the Olympic park and BMW Welt. Not forgetting a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle brilliant views and walking up the alps at Garmisch Partenkirchen. or just take it easy on the sunlounger looking up at the alps with the noise of the cow bells in the distance. We as a family had a really great time at Annas house and would definitely recommend a stay here.

Großzügige und stilvolle Wohnung, auch für größere Gruppen
Wir verbrachten eine glückliche Woche in dieser geräumigen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung in ländlicher Lage. Gutes Raumklima, gewählt eingerichtet, geräumiger Balkon, auch die Mülltrennung funktionierte gut. Freundliche Vermieterin, mit der sich alles regeln ließ. Mit etwas Anfahrtszeit waren wunderschöne landschaftliche und kulturelle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Herzliche Empfehlung!

Wir haben die Wohnung für ein Familientreffen im idyllischen Ruderatshofen ausgewählt. Die Wohnung entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet insbesondere die Küche. Sie ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man spürt den Flair der Vermieterin für Kunst. Die Vermieterin ist äussert hilfsbereit, umgänglich und kommunikativ. Wir haben 3 schöne Tage zusammen verbracht und können die Wohnung ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.

Tolle Unterkunft für ein Familienwochenende
Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Sehr sauber, großzügig, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und top ausgestattet. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Garten und eine schöne Terrasse. Man kann dort eine herrliche Zeit verbringen.
