Clean. Comfortable. Good service. Meals good. Breakfast good. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again. Only minor point was that room window was next to children's playground, so not ideal when you're trying to get to sleep early for an early start the next day.

Stay here a couple of times a year always very good but on my recent visit the service during dinner was very slow and not as expected. Hopefully this was a one off and has not put me off staying again.

Check in was a bit confused because they expected us to stay 2 days when I had canceled one about a week earlier. They also had the wrong credit card details for me one their computer. We had evening meal there, supposedly two 10oz ribeye steaks but one was smaller than the other. The manageress was apologetic.

Could be better
The room was basically like a travel lodge. Nothing special but the bath was lovely. The breakfast was not memorable. The porridge was in a plastic cup that you add water to and stir. The pain au Chocolat were cold. The manager was excellent. Very friendly, as was the lady who booked us in.

Pleasant stay
This was a good experience. The only issue was the wardrobe was a shelf with a few hangers and no drawers, so we basically kept everything in a suitcase, but we only stayed for 3 nights, so maybe other rooms had more storage. The room was spacious and very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice. There was also a reasonably comprehensive evening menu. Recommended.
