Nos enfants n'ont pas pu profiter de la piscine qu'on leur avait promis car nous sommes arrivés tardivement le vendredi soir et apres le souper au restaurant de l'hotel, nous avons voulu nous y rendre a 22h. Or a cette heure la piscine est interdite aux 18- chose qui n'était pas mentionné lors de la réservation. Ca a gaché notre sejour a l'hôtel. J'ai été decu de ne pas etre prévenu avant car j'aurai sûrement choisi un autre hôtel.

The only good thing about the hotel was that the beds were comfortable enough. But the layout of the hotel itself makes no sense, the room we were in (2 bed) was tiny (not accommodating of 4 people as advertised). The room had a constant smell that was similar to a locker room. The bathroom had a faint smell of porta potty (probably caused by the dried pee splatter behind the toilet). There were multiple of what one would assume are pubic hairs around the toilet and regular hair in the tub. The carpet had a lot of unknown stains. The pool and splash park were warm but also had a mildew smell. When we arrived for check in (4) the power was out and stayed out for over 4h, we had to make different accommodations on our first night because we are from a different time zone and our kids were exhausted but couldn’t sleep in the hot room. The hotel refused to offer us a discount saying no one else had to sleep elsewhere so why are we special. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it’s overall dirty, overpriced, breakfast is not included, & the staff un-helpful.

I appreciate that this is in the heart of Chicoutimi. The hotel seems a bit old and clunky to use all of its facilities, but there's ample parking, restaurants, and a good price which made me select this place to stay.

L'hôtel est très bien. J'ai seulement trouvé difficile de parler à quelqu'un de Hôtel.com. quand j'ai voulu modifier ma réservation, mais Le Montagnais n'était pas en cause.
