Quiet and quirky
Quirky hotel in quiet area. Said it had private parking but this hotel does not have it. A few spaces opposite but we were offered to park out of sight beyond a church that did not feel at all secure (and mentioned to remove all valuables in the hotel room book). Our room had shower and toilet down stairs at a lower level but in same room area. Evening meal was nice but limited menu.

A perfect few days in the Charente.
We stayed here as we were attending wedding in the local area, and were delighted by what we had found. A lovely individual small hotel with great atmosphere, wonderful food and friendly and helpful staff.

Very quirky and beautiful but lacking in attention to detail .one lamp did not work and sink did not drain !also had room in the eaves !alright for hobbits or the very supple !I am 67 and neither .Dinner lovely eaten on the terrace .

Unique and unusual.
Little cosy hotel run by nice family.It is little, but got everything: restaurant, sauna, gym, even pool. Fully worth it's name, the design of this hotel is amazing. A little hard to get there, but now with internet and GPS everything is possible.

Unfortunately, this hotel was the classic example of getting the worst room in the hotel because I purchased my reservation on Hotels.com. It was a lovely setting but I couldn't stand up in most of the room because it was in the roof of the building.
