I am absolutely appalled by my recent stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Salmon Arm from August 31st to September 1st. From the moment we entered the room, we were met with an unbearable stench that was so foul and dirty, we couldn’t even tolerate being inside for more than five minutes. The lack of proper lighting—only a single dim table lamp—made matters even worse. We were forced to keep the window open all night just to breathe, despite the cold temperatures outside.
The bathroom situation was no better. The smell was disgusting, and the toilet took an excruciating 30 seconds to flush, which I have documented in video. To top it off, the bathtub drain plug wouldn’t stay up, causing the water to flood the tub. We had to manually hold it up with our fingers while trying to bathe, which is completely unacceptable.
When we finally tried to go to bed, we discovered weird spots on the bedsheets, which left us feeling extremely uncomfortable. We had no choice but to use our own clothes as makeshift bedding.
As if that wasn’t enough, breakfast the next morning was a joke. Arriving at 9:00 AM, we found just two pieces of bread and some coffee. After asking for more bread, we were flat-out denied, which was incredibly disappointing. To make matters worse, when we returned after 15 minutes, we saw a fr
