Located at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Cottonwood Heights 'The City between the Canyons' (suburb of Salt Lake City). We are 9 miles from Alta, Snowbird (Little Cottonwood Canyon) and 12 miles from Solitude, Brighton (Big Cottonwood Canyon) and 15 miles from downtown Salt Lake City. Park City, The Canyons and Deer Valley resorts are only 25-31 miles away on I-80.

The Canyon Racquet condo community is very unique. We are one of the only communities within walking distance to many amenities, the condos are situated to allow privacy from neighbors. No hot tub or deck is close to another, and many are not visible to other units in the community. You don't have to worry about taking trash cans out once a week as we have community dumpsters for trash and recycling. 20 min to DOWNTOWN SLC. Large, attached two car garage. WALK to dinner/lunch at Porcupine pub, Eight Settlers Distillery, Saola and Alpha Coffee/cafe.

This town home is in one of the furthest buildings away from busy Wasatch Blvd (the main road to the canyons). It is very quiet and secluded.

The Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center is just over a mile away. Olympic sized ice rink open year round, indoor and outdoor pools, racquetball (and Walleyball) courts, as well as a cardio room and weight room. The rec center offers several classes, from Spin, to Yoga and Zumba. Nominal fee. The outdoor pool is wonderful with two huge slides, three "rock" diving boards.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private patio. Lovely spot for a ski vacay

Great place for family with access to ski resorts

We had a great stay at this condo for our ski vacation. We chose to stay in Cottonwood Heights to be near family who live in the area, but it turned out to be a great location for accessing Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons as we explored different resorts. The condo was comfortable for our family of 4, and the hot tub was the best thing for after a day of skiing. We would definitely stay here again.

Sweet ski pad and location

We originally wanted to stay slope side and found this great place that is about 10 miles below Alta/Snowbird. To have restaurants, grocery, liquor store, Ski & See, Crumble Cookie + close and good location to do other options or city, was excellent. The condo setup and garage were also ideal for family and snowfall. Definitely want to return!

Easy 20-30 minute drive to the big 4 Ikon mountains (Bird/Alta/Brighton/Solitdue). Hottub was great kitchen well stocked. Very close to grocery store, would stay here again for another ski trip!

Location, value, and attention to detail

We (a family of four with two kids age 10 and under) stayed at this condo for a week-long ski vacation. 1.) The location is perfect for accessing the resorts in the Big Cottonwood and Little Cottonwood canyons (and Park City is also relatively close). 2.) Restaurants, groceries, coffee, and ski-rental shops were just minutes away (and the last two were within walking distance). 3.) The condo was clean, with comfortable beds. The appliances (full washer/dryer) and kitchen items made the condo a quick and easy home-away-from-home. 4.) The property manager reached out to us before, during, and after the trip (thanks Jennifer!). 5.) The condo was well-stocked with travel tips, a Wii, up-to-date magazines, and also had trail maps for the local resorts (all reflective of exceptional attention to detail). 6.) The large garage (our SUV fit easily, even with a ski rack) and hot tub were a big plus. Great value – great condo. I'd stay here again.

Let me count the ways this property is so great!

We stayed at this property for 9 days. The first thing we appreciated was how great Jennifer was with communication before checking, during checkin and while we stayed there. She was available and helpful for everything we needed. The property looks just like the photos - it's clean, cozy, and comfortable. The beds, linens, and furniture are clean and very comfortable. My husband and son skied and I was working on a project so I spent a lot of time in the property. The fireplace is lovely, the whole place has light and is airy, and the kitchen has the things we needed to have meals and snacks. There is a dishwasher! There washer/dryer was a huge bonus as we went home with clean clothes from our trip - loved not having multiple loads to do right after vacation! The garage was easy access and took care of parking issues. The location was right near Little/Big Cotton Canyons and 40 minutes from DEER Valley which we visited multiple times to ski and spa. We will be back next year!

Excellent Condo for Ski Access

This condo is clean and well equipped. Quick access to Solitude, Brighton, Snowbird and Alta. Also close to food shopping, liquor store and good restaurants. Easy access to buses to ski resorts if you don’t want to drive. My daughter and I took the bus one day. Bus may come in handy on days when the canyon roads are closed to vehicles without 4x4 + chains. Clean private hot tub. Well equipped kitchen. WiFi plus full entertainment system included. The only thing missing is bbq grill out on the patio. We will go back. Jennifer the property manager is on top of everything.

Ski Holiday Perfected

Start with location, location, location. Right at the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon and close to the ski bus that will take you to most of the resorts in the Salt Lake City area. The property is clean and very well appointed with lots of little touches that make you feel at home. Check-in/out was easy and communication was clear and quick. Already looking forward to staying here again!

Great stay right outside the canyon

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great. Just about a 20-25 minute drive to Alta and Snowbird, and very easy to park there when you get there. Loved staying at lower altitude but then being so close. Everything in condo is in great shape and kitchen is well equipped. Decorated very nicely. Grocery just a 3 minute drive. Everything was very convenient and Jennifer was terrific to work with. Helped us with lift tickets and provided all information we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for a ski trip

This townhome worked very well for our ski trip to Utah. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice, a stylish living room with a nice fireplace that helped us dry our hats and gloves, and it has hot tub on the patio. It took 20-30 minutes to drive to Alta and Snowbird in the morning, so it's a great location to stay if you plan to ski there. It was quite area too. No complaints at all.
