We love this hotel. Directly across the street from the Delta center. We like to get a "suite" because it is so roomy. The staff have always been very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are decently clean...I am picky so attention to detail could be better but cleaner than most places we have stayed. Beds are comfy. My son enjoys the pool. Only downside is that breakfast is not included:(

The front door clerk couldn’t have been less helpful. At check in, she made things so confusing on what needed to be a deposit and what was parking. Asked her for a close place to eat. She sent us 2 blocks down the road and we found out there was a sports bar just to the right about 50’ as you walk out. She asked if we were there for the hockey game. You’d think she’d tell us about the sports bar with all the hockey fans for the game. Pool and hot tube full of hair and debris. Probably should have someone clean it during the weekend. It was gross! Inside bar has weird hours so bring your own alcohol. For $190 you don’t even get a complementary breakfast. They informed me I should have a code on my itinerary for free breakfast, which I did not. Assuming the food was like the cleanliness of the pool in the hot tub. It was probably best we didn’t eat there. The only good thing about this hotel. It’s right across the street from the Delta Center, but that’s it. We enjoyed our time in Salt Lake City, but not our stay at Courtyard Marriott Salt Lake City downtown. Will try to find better next time.
