This is a hostel, not a hotel

This business should not be listed as a hotel, as it is a hostel with substandard conditions. We paid for a "Superior Triple Room" with a balcony, and were assigned a room that only had 2 uncomfortable beds and no balcony to speak of. When we tried to open the curtains, the curtain rod came crashing down, and the window flew open. The only way we could secure it shut was to use a strap from our own suitcases. Had we not done this, we would not have felt safe sleeping there at night or leaving our belongings in the room during the day. Our toilet seat came off the toilet entirely, and the toilet would not flush until we went across the street and purchased a bucket, which we had to fill with water from the shower. The power went out multiple times, so we were forced to take freezing cold showers, and the shower always overflowed. The quality and quantity of the towels were very poor, and the linens did not seem clean. There were no hangers available to hang our things. They advertise WiFi, but the connection was so weak that we could not use it. The most telling aspect of this visit was the fact that we saw an employee in the lobby wearing a "Hostel Porto Salvador" shirt. Exactly. This is not a hotel. It is an overpriced hostel.

Ripped off

Paid for most expensive room at highest rate and then given cheapest hostel room and told no other rooms available to change. When asked for reimbursement was told owner wasn't around and staff not authorised to repay. Eventually had to threaten going to police and staff reimbursed 3/4 from their own savings. Think owner was intentionally overbooking and hoping we would just move on. Thank god his staff showed more humanity.

This place is not worth the price.... Not by far that is. True, it's the World Cup and everything is overpriced, but this hotelroom is at the most worth 1/5th of what we had to pay! Nothing nice about this place, so I'd say: Just don't go there....!

Boa opção para quem vem Turistar

Hotel excelente para que vem para turistas com localização quase que em frente à praia da Barra e poucos passos do Farol da Barra. Cama e travesseiros bons, mas faltou algumas cobertas no quarto. Banheiro pequeno e Wi-Fi fraco no quarto 02. Possui alguns quartos com acesso apenas por escada e para quem tem dificuldade de acesso é bom buscar os que tem acesso pelo elevador. Café da manhã bom com variedade de pães, ovos, frutas etc. Super recomendo e voltaria com certeza.

1 Stern für das super freundliche Personal & nochmals 1 stern für das gute Frühstück! Das Zimmer war eine katastropfe. das badezimmer war wortwörlich voll mit schimmel & ein pbler geruch im ganzen zimmer der nicht zum aushalten war. Sir konnten zum glück das zimmer wechseln dank dem zuvorkommenden mitarbeiter, das zweite zimmer war okey, es war ständig extrem feucht, nichts was man aufgehangen hat, ist richtig trocken geworden & dia ganze kleidung hat den gestank angenommen. Leider nicht empfehlenswert.

Pegamos apenas uma diária que poderia ser facilmente ampliada para mais dias. Pois, o hotel é bem localizado na praia do Porta da Barra, com quarto amplo e com varanda, a qual consegue ver a praia. Café da manhã muito bom. Atendimento ótimo.
