Views from the rooftop restaurant/bar terrace were really good although it was hard to find somewhere without someone smoking nearby. The hotel is well situated for the key Salzburg sites.

The Imlauer is my favorite hotel in Salzburg. The location is within easy walking distance of Mirabel Gardens, and the bus stop is across the street. As a bonus, the restaurant is one of the best in Salzburg.

We had a great stay at Imlauer. Overall a nice hotel relatively close to the Old Town. Front desk was friendly and professional. My only comment would be about rooftop staff. One gentleman almost send us off back to our room saying there is no room and all tables are reserved. We asked another waiter and there was no issue finding us a table.
