We made a last minute reservation here as we had to fly out of SJO instead of Liberia airport. It was a pleasant surprise for us that we were able to drop off our Alamo rental car keys at a box in the main lobby, saving a drive to the airport at night! There was a tour bus full of people checking in at the same time, but somehow the front desk staff got through us all very efficiently and calmly! The hotel is bright and clean, with a bar/restaurant in the lobby. Good food actually, and there's a small mini mart and gift shop with essentials as well. We even walked over to a nearby casino after dinner (not much else in the area) and won some $$ in roulette haha. Overall a wonderful short stay.

Summary: Awful place. Just a cash cow for Hilton and at no point did I feel valued as a person. Impersonal ugly room. Poor breakfast options and tiny area. Basically its cattle class. Incedibly unpleasant experience, but a good sleep. Positives: Bed was comfortable so got a good sleep. Blackout blinds were awesome. Issues: I never got the internet sorted because they didnt load my Hilton membership and every time i went to the front desk it was packed with people. I had booked 2 nights and after 1 night they tried to kick me out! Somehow they had overlooked that I was booked for 2 nights! They sorted this out and I had to pay. Again, constant throng of people trying to check in or out. Just appallingly bad understaffed. I moved on to a better location after night 2 of 5.

We needed a place to stay for one night before our flight out of San Jose at the end of our trip. It turned out this hotel was right across the street from our car rental return office. Couldn't be more convenient than that. We rented from vamos, car company. Highly recommend them as well. The hotel was clean, quiet and everyone was very friendly. The shuttle worked perfectly. Everything was great!

I was given a room, but the key didn’t work. I received a new key from the front desk. It worked, but my internet code didn’t. I was told I had been given the wrong room. I had to move, even though I’d unpacked. New room dirty, light bulb out. Complained. Given a card for free meal. Food was amazing!

We arrived late and ordered room service. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was terrific, and the room was spotless The staff was extremely helpful in explaining our options for the airport shuttle. It was a short stay, and went smoothly.
