Property is older and not well maintained. Room was not cleaned very well when we arrived. The bed sheet had several stains on it, including one that looked like a blood stain. My wife just covered it with a towel, I would have demanded a new room. We only had the room cleaned once during our 7-night stay, and it was better. The pool was dirty so we didn't use it. Website says expanded cable TV including HBO, but none of the HBO channels worked. At $70 a night plus tax, it was priced right IF the room was clean. I'll find a different budget hotel next year.

Great location

Good hotel, very good location (about 3 blocks walk from the Alamo). Offers the basics and very friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Easy to get to the Riverwalk. 30 minute walk or short taxi to the Pearl brewery complex.

The room I was initially booked in, was incredibly smelly. When I complained, the front office clerk admitted to knowing that the room had a strong odor. Thankfully, she did change me to a new room. The property is somewhat dirty, rundown, in disrepair. I checked in at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and they still charge me a $25 early check-in fee even though the room was ready.

Property is located in decent area right outside of downtown. Parking garage costs $15. Not sure if thats ler day, so you may want to ask. There was no water in any vending machines. The only one that had water was out of service. For the price its worth staying there if you're on a budget.

As Expected

The hotel is very basic, but it was exactly what I expected for what I paid on Final Four weekend. The location is good, and the managers are VERY helpful. Good experience for an economy hotel.
