Nice location
I went on a solo trip and I had a great time. It’s in a central location so I was able to either walk of or take a quick trolley to everything I needed. It was also inexpensive to Lyft or Uber from here and the staff was really nice.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel was a little shady at night but we felt safe at the hotel. Don't let that discourage you from staying here, it was a great location for access to cable cars, sightseeing shops and restaurants.

Disappointing Stay
Hotel is located in an area very close to the Tenderloin. Homeless people all over the street and we were often followed by aggressive people whenever we went across the street to get some coffee because the hotel’s coffee maker was out of order during our entire 6 days stay. Walls are paper thin and each time a neighbor flushed the toilet, we would be awaken due to the loud noises. The housekeepers have a habit of talking loudly each time they were in the hallway or cleaning rooms adjacent to us. Hotel does not have a copier or fax machine. The only saving grace was the front desk supervisor Ajal who went out of her way to assist us with a document we needed to forward to my doctor. Never felt safe once when we left the hotel while on foot. The price of the hotel is similar with our hotel chains and we ended up moving to the holiday Inn 2 blocks away.

Location, location location
This hotel is very convenient if you are interested in the theatre district, the opera or symphony, or a concert at the Masonic, the Found Hotel should be considered. This is an older hotel that has been brought up to date, with an espresso machine in the spacious lobby. The bed was extremely comfortable, the blackout curtains blocked out the street sounds as well as the light. The keyless and cardless entry, as well as the light/fan options and the TV took awhile to figure out. The room was scupulously clean, I would definitely go back.

İt’s an average hotel with proper pricing. The coffee machine is not working which is important for my choice of the hotel. Also the house keeping is really slapdash! I made my complaint but nothing is changed.
