The staff was very friendly and courteous. Easy to check-in, and the facility was very clean. The breakfast they offered was very good. I love that pets are welcome. I would recommend staying in this location.

Impeccably clean, breakfast was decent enough, and although the furniture was pretty beat up and the place seemed a little run down, you aren't going to get a better value for your money in this area near the SFO airport (you would either you pay a lot more for something slightly better or stay in a total dump for the same or less). One thing I could have done without - housekeeping comes in very early, my room was across from their offices and the noise of them talking as well as opening and closing their office door while I was still sleeping was very disturbing. But, if you aren't close to that particular space, it won't be a problem.

Booked this hotel last minute. Unfortunately there were a number of issues upon arriving at the hotel. Since we arrived pretty late (11pm), there was not much we could do. As many other patrons have stated, parking is very limited and the hotel itself is in a sketchy neighborhood which made having to find parking late at night frustrating. The pillows on our bed were stained and ants were all over the shower wall. In addition to this, the bed was genuinely unlike anything I had ever slept in before. It was creaky, and felt like a mattress was placed over a cot. Lastly, the continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise and had a number of options available, even though we didn’t arrive until 20 minutes before the service ended.

It's close to the airport and convenient for us. But wouldn't recommend as front desk manager not very friendly. They wouldn't clean your room if you don't tell them ahead of time.

The good, the bad and the ugly.
The good of Hotel Focus was the ease to the airport, the monetary aspects and, of course, the quiet feel of the property. The bad. Parking is an issue. Never seemed to be enough parking spots close to the door. The ugly is most of the surrounding neighborhood being on the edge of an industrial park. It looks kinda sketchy, but wasn't. Nice place to stay either for the night or for a couple of weeks.
