No one was trying to sell us anything. We felt welcomed and pampered. Sergio T took care of us at the pool. Oscar at Pergola, Xochit at Sakke. Marco was always around-making sure everything was okay. The property was beautiful and clean. There were fun activities every day and evening. We will go back to Marquis.

Everyone at Marquis made us feel welcome; Sergio Tellez, Oscar, Xochit, Francisco, Marco-they took the time to greet us, ask how we were and make sure everything was okay. It was our second time at Marquis and we will go back.

This is my second time to this resort in less than a year. It’s very beautiful, clean, and relaxing. Some folks brought their own speaker one day and that was pretty annoying- but not the resorts fault.

Great resort, We had an amazing relaxing vacation. The resort is on the boutiquey side and overall quite and great place to vacation since we don’t like party resorts this one was great for us. Food was mostly great and there was a variety of options. Multiple times we were accommodated by the staff even when we didn’t have a reservation or a change of mind. Drinks were amazing and not watered down. I found the room to be clean and room service always kept it clean. Our room was not ocean front yet we had an amazing view of the ocean and we were happy through out the whole stay. The cafe is a bit outdated and could be improved but they had great drinks and few good deserts. The overall vibe was nice and entertainment was decent.

We can’t wait to come back! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff went above and beyond to ensure an incredible experience, even assisting with booking excursions. The weekend activities and nightlife were fantastic, and the adults-only setting provided a peaceful and much-needed escape. Once we realized that dinner reservations were required, we quickly booked for the rest of our stay and had the chance to enjoy all the amazing restaurants. Overall, it was a wonderful time, and we had an unforgettable experience!

Be cautious about this resort, they’re not welcoming to people of color. I spent thousands of dollars to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday there with a group of eight, and from the start, we faced discrimination. As a government professional, accompanied by law enforcement employees , I expected fair treatment, but it was challenging from the moment we arrived. We were denied entry to dining areas and faced difficulties just making reservations, despite the substantial amount we spent. I had to book yachts and plan activities outside the resort to make her birthday enjoyable. I pride myself on being respectful and professional, but it was clear they catered primarily to one demographic. The lack of inclusivity extended beyond the front desk to the servers and beyond. I would strongly advise against staying at this resort.
