Rooms old and outdated. Hallways are in rough condition. A lot of amenities and activities to do. Gym closed that during my visit. Plenty of shops and food options. Reasonable price.

Wyndham Herradura Old but Steady
The hotel is older but still looks good. The toilet in our room didn't quite flush properly. The remote for the TV was a generic remote and I could not access the SAP channels. The breakfast was good and the service wonderful.

The property location was convenient and staff were kind. I left behind an item in my room and did not have adequate staff support to locate it or retrieve it before I had to fly out of the country. So that was unfortunate. I felt it could’ve been handled with better customer service

The lobby looks brand new! The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are extremely dated, the hotel is huge and very outdated. The pools are dirty and need updating.

The location is conveniently about ten mins from SJO airport. We stayed here for a quick one night upon arriving and again before leaving.The lobby is beautiful and there is a cute gift shop, two restaurants and a casino. I would stay here again because of how welcoming, kind and accommodating the staff are and the proximity to the airport.

The hotel would not send a shuttle for me upon arrival, even though it’s listed as a free service, they did not have the room I reserved for my stay (king room, was put in a double bed room) the hair dryer in bathroom didn’t work and the tub was dirty. A sauna is listed as a service and has been closed for 3 years. The room service food was cold and the staff was unhelpful. I never write these kinds of reviews, but overall the property is in poor maintainence and discord; there are ceiling leaks and wet carpet inside as a result. The pools looked unclean and unkept. I travel often, and in various styles of an accommodations, this place is not worth it. I would not recommend staying here and there listing ought to be updated for accuracy.

Although the room was ok, the bed was ok....my biggest problem was with lack of hot water! No operating telephone to call. Especially after a long drive from The Caribbean South, needed a hot bath. No such luck. Couldn't use the phone. Early morning flight. No hot shower. Had to take a freezing cold sponge bath. Pretty upsetting. Especially when i was told that i was getting an upgrade?? When checking out i was hoping they woukd ask if my stay was ok? No such luck either.

Perfect! A little luxury before we fly home
We stayed here the night before we flew home after 3 weeks in Costa Rica visiting family. I was nervous as some of the reviews online are not great but, they are truly an unfair representation. The hotel is huge and has lots of amenities. My boys loved the pool and the games area. The room was a little dated but the beds were comfortable and the water was lovely and hot in the big bathroom. The towels were fluffy and separate pool towels provided by reception. The breakfast was great, everything from pinto and fruits through to cereal, bread and pastries. The staff have been really attentive the whole stay.
