Property is absolutely beautiful. We had an issue with the room at check in and staff went above and beyond to make things right. Every single employee we dealt with was so hospitable... always a smile and kind word. I dont think we will ever stay anywhere but here!

This hotel is a middle ground as far as price goes, and it is extremely convenient, since it's about a 10-minute Uber ride from SJU airport, and 15-20 minutes into Old San Juan. This historic hotel was opened in 1958 and the lobby features an old world feel with dark wood accents, stunning design features, and a regal feel. It is a tad too dark in the daytime, but it creates a whole different atmosphere at night. While children are allowed at this hotel, you aren't likely to see too many of them due to the more adult party vibe of the hotel. If you're a party person, this hotel is perfect! The plants on this property were out of this world. Pools were always extremely clean and property was well maintained.

Hotel is beyond beautiful. had an amazing time. only issue we encountered was that the AC would stop work after 1am and it would get extremely hot, but after 4am the ac would get cold again and the room was freezing.

This was my second time staying at San Juan Fairmont, and my first experience was wonderful, but this stay was utterly disappointing with the disrepair, and insects (roaches), uncleanness of the room(s). And no compensation for the inconvenience!!! We were told the first room through Expedia was basically less high end, basically "you get waht you paid for." Expedia should let customers know that once you book through them you'll get second rated accommodations.

I had a very good stay but I think this would be considered more of a 4 star hotel in my opinion. The beach was great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was just average, and the food on site was mixed. Some items were very good, but others were below average, especially for a 5 Star hotel. It was VERY convenient to the airport but still quiet. Good spot for a quick getaway

The room was dusty. I guess it was my fault because I came early and they felt they had to rush to clean it. After paying so much to stay there, they charged me an extra $69.00 per night in resort fees to use their pool and beach area. I felt that should have been included in the stay.
