Quaint house walking distance to downtown

Located in SLO's Old Town Historic District, featuring beautifully restored Victorian and Craftsman homes, this two bedroom Craftsman is less than a 5 minute walk to downtown shops/restaurants/nightlife. Despite its central location, the house is situated on a quiet street without heavy traffic. The property includes a private yard with a large (8 person) hot tub and grill.

The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for gourmet or casual cooking. The living room features a flatscreen TV, HD DirecTV, and full sized sofa. Each of the bedrooms features a very comfortable queen sized bed (1 sleigh bed and 1 brass bed). There is also a desk in the primary bedroom. It’s a cozy little house ideal for families or friends. As it is an older home, it has its quirks! A couple things to be aware of: 1. the water pressure in the shower can be low. Avoid running other water during shower time. 2. If you choose to use the window AC, avoid also using other appliances as it will trip the fuse.
Please note, the driveway is our neighbor’s and cannot be used for any reason. Parking is available on the street and can sometimes be a challenge, especially on Thursday nights due to farmers market downtown.

Location, location, location!
Charming home that has the perfect location a few blocks from downtown. Michelle was very responsive, and the house was clean and had everything we needed. Perfect backyard area for our dogs, too!

Good location
Short walk to downtown SLO. House met our needs, but the shower had little to no water flow. Plenty of water came out of tub spout, but when switched to shower, the pressure/flow was very poor. You couldn't take a proper shower. It wouldn't have been a big deal except there was only one bathroom. Reached out to owner who just confirmed that pressue is low.

Great location, charming home
We had such a great stay, and did not want to leave! It is an older home, but very nicely appointed and a great location. Everything was so easy from beginning to end Rand communication from the owners/managers was wonderful. I really hope that we can return soon!

This was our second stay at this location. Not many places in the area allow two dogs over 50 pounds, or have yards that are dog friendly. We plan to stay here again.

Great Downtown Location
Very comfortable house near downtown SLO. Owners are clear about amenities, check in, and parking. Bathroom remodeled and spiffy looking washer and dryer are available. Enjoyed walking to downtown shops and eateries.

Great location, dog friendly, comfortable home
This house has a great yard, comfortable beds, and room for dog beds. Walking distance to downtown, close to other shopping (Trader Joe, Vons) and various restaurants. The neighborhood has a lot of interesting houses to see while walking your dog(s), and the neighbors are friendly. Kitchen is average, with basic/minimal pots/utensils. Street parking only, which was not an issue for us but potentially could involve a short walk. We plan to stay here again !

Amazing home away from home!
This property had everything my family of 4 plus a pup needed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook, house was clean, beds/living room comfortable and the hot tub was a treat! The location was a huge perk it was a short walk to top notch coffee shops and dining downtown. It was so great to have a washer dryer, no huge piles of laundry after our trip! Highly recommend, we will be back!

Cute Historic Downtown House
This cozy house was just the right size for my cousin and I visiting the SLO area. Very clean, comfortable couch and beds and stocked kitchen in case you want to cook. Very walkable to historic downtown to restaurants and shops. Nice patio set in backyard to enjoy dinner and a glass of wine. Would stay here again.

Absolutely love the spot easy to walk downtown for farmers market and morning coffee at Scout, to High Street Deli for lunch and Bon Temps Creole Cafe for brunch. It’s been great for relaxation between hikes and meals. Looking forward to our next visit and hope this spot is available when we do!

Awesome house in an awesome neighborhood. Beautiful vibrant little town. With great coffee shop / bakery within walking distance, and a fabulous Farmers night market on a Thursday evening also within walking distance. Beach, Paso Robles wine country all within a 30 min drive.

Cute cottage, great location!
Cute cottage, perfect for the two of us and our doggie. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfy, and the back yard very inviting. We had breakfast there every morning. It's a really quiet neighborhood, great for sleeping, but we could walk to downtown with all the shops and restaurants in just about 10 minutes. We look forward to coming back!

Lovely Stay, Convenient Location
My family and I enjoyed our short stay in Karin's cozy but spacious home. Beds were very comfortable and you have all of the amenities you need. We especially loved how convenient the location was. It's just a short walk to downtown SLO with great restaurants and shops. One thing to note in the summer is that it can get quite warm in the house during the day. I'd recommend keeping the shades closed throughout the day. The water pressure in the shower is also a bit weak if that's something that's important to you. Overall, very lovely place and would stay again.

Cute Cottage Near Downtown SLO
My husband, mother-in-law and I stayed here recently for a family wedding nearby. It was the perfect place for us. The two bedrooms were clean with ample storage and comfortable beds. The bathroom had double sinks, which made sharing easier. It also had an amazing backyard oasis and was within easy walking distance of Downtown SLO. I would highly recommend this property.

The quaint, inviting comfortable two-bedroom home
The home was perfect-clean, very comfortable beds, inviting back yard and large kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to downtown and Cal Poly. There is even an air conditioner-on our 95 degree days it was great to have. This is a find in SLO!
