This properry is under loud and persitent interior construction from 6am to 6pm. As if that isnt bad enough, when I arrived to check in they said my room wasnt ready and it would be 30 minutes. 40 minites later I went up and finally got a room key. This is the worst hotel experience of my recent travels,.

Good stay if you need basic accomodations
Hotel was under renovation, fitness facility was closed. Noise levels were better than expected being next to an airport. Cleanliness was about as expected given the budget. There was a surcharge which the concierge explained would be refunded, willing to update when confirmed.

I had driven a long ways and really wanted a cold beer. The bar was supposed to be open. It was not. I was hungry. The restaurant was not open. I went to pour a glass of wine in the room and you have crappy plastic cups. Paper cups for at best mediocre coffee. One cup each. Amen. Have a couple of real glasses and cups and the coffee makers that do the coffee where are you insert a cup and close the lid and it makes a good cup. Two per person. That will vastly improve the experience.

The staff was nice. Got there late in the evening and had to park in the last of 2 spaces. The room.looked like it had not been updated since 1995. Some of the towel had black hair on them. The beds comfortable. I would not go back.

Rooms need maintenance. Wallpaper near the window was coming off the wall, likely due to moisture, and the office chair had lots of wear and tear. The rooms are spacious and the place is quiet with lots of parking spaces.

The location is great and convenient to Orcutt. But the Radisson used to be a higher end hotel in Santa Maria. Now it is outdated and showing signs of being run down. The wall paper had bubbles and tears in it. The bathrooms didn't have fans and it was just in need of a good remodel. We had friends also stay there and they felt the same way.

Do NOT stay here!!
The hotel was under construction which was not disclosed. The room was dirty, a hole in the bathroom door, sheets were discolored and had holes, curtains broken, power strips hanging out, no fan in bathroom, pool/spa out of service, construction noise early, trip hazards, etc. it was a terrible place to stay besides being able to use the lobby to sit and chat with friends.
