Friendly staff at check in, with some snacks and coffee available even at 10pm. One half of the hotel is very beautiful, facing the ocean with amazing views, with access to fire pits and lounging chairs. Unfortunately, getting put in a non-ocean facing room, even a partial view room, doesn't feel worth the $200+ cost. It doesn't even feel like the same place. Without the view, and access to the view side grass area (which we had to get to by walking around the the side of the property) it feels like any other place with a hard bed, mushy pillow, and slight musky smell. Bonus star for some very cool art in the rooms though.
