This is not a 4.5* resort, id say 2* at best which I hate to give it as we did have a really good holiday. Its clean but run down and there are not as many sun loungers on the beach as there are people so you have hustle. There were so many vendors on the beach selling everything though I did buy my larimar jewellery there for me and the kids and I did get a great massage from wanda!. The biggest complaint I have is about the buffet food. I am a vegetarian, my daughter is gluten sensitive. Really the only things we could eat from the buffet were omlettes and fried eggs for breakfast, bread, fruit, pasta for lunch and dinner. And it had to be freshly made as the stuff that was precooked was smothered in a weird butter and cheese and tasted awful. But when I asked the chef to cook me from fresh without butter it was delicious. I could have kissed him! My kids stopped eating the meat after 2 days as it just was very questionable and not very good, the veggies had either meat with them, were covered in the weird butter and/or cheese, or just didn't look great. Alot of the salads had meat, the cheeses looked plastic and usually had flies on them (can't be helped in the carribean but still i'm not going to eat it) and the desserts were not very good. Thank goodness for the little icecream cart! Nicer restauants you have to book early in the morning were a life saver, med and tex mex, loved those meals. Otherwise we would have lived on fries from the snack bar

Very old, outdated resort. Dirty and moldy rooms.The noises were coming from outside or the other rooms. Mediocre food and most of the time running out of very common stuff as orange juice or fruits and desert if you’re not going early. Not enough options to eat. The beach was ok, not spectacular because of the seaweed you couldn’t swim far.

The property and the room was clean and safe. The food is good and the all inclusive is a good decision. The staff is helpful and polite. It's a big resort and my opinion would be better if some negatives were not excited. The biggest problem we had to deal was the noise. Our room was close to the beach and the speakers were playing so loud all day until 10:40pm. Especially at the evening the microphones and the music were extremely loud that you couldn't hear even your TV. We complained but nothing happened. We also had problem to communicate in English. The resort is isolated and you can not go out anywhere around so the food had to be more convenient with the times because you have no other choice if you miss the launch or dinner. Also you must have more choices to buy things you may need in the resort. The shop is expencive and has to be more update with basic things to buy because of no choice to go anywhere else for market.I didn't see also doctor office for minor emergency situations. Overall we our satisfied with our stay to the resort and we would recommend it for everyone. Our review is only for the reason to get the resort better. We loved our stay there and to the Dominican republic.

If you’re looking for a nice beach at a reasonable price look no further! Everything was clean, the food was ok except for the seafood buffet and grill they were amazing. Always got a lounge chair. Always got drinks. Coffe bar was great I brought almond milk from breakfast everyday. Highly rec
