With two levels (no interior access) this house is a great fit for families, friends or couples traveling together. There is plenty of space to gather and celebrate, but also intimate nooks for relaxing, reading or just enjoying some time to yourself.

This home is unique, in that you can rent either the upstairs 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home, or the lower 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom home. Each level has its own kitchen facilities and living area and offers doors leading to outdoor spaces. And you’ll never have to share: Rent one level, and we’ll leave the other empty. The home and property are all yours.

Casa Amarillo is located on the south end of Ambergris Caye. An area with a dedicated police substation and regular Neighborhood Watch Patrols and still accessible via old-fashioned sand streets. Just 3 miles south of San Pedro town, you can enjoy the offerings of town and return to your own charming beach house at the end of the day.

HOUSEKEEPING:
Please note that, in addition to the rental rate, there is a one-time cleaning fee of US$247.50 This fee includes the following:
- One mid-stay housekeeping service
- Departure cleaning service

Additional days of housekeeping services can be arranged at a rate of US$50.00/ per day/level or US$75 per day/entire house. The cost will be added to your incidental invoice. Additional housekeeping days must be arranged at least one week prior to arrival.

GROUNDS KEEPING:
Our staff will visit your home daily to check on the pool and perform light grounds keeping services.

How do we get to Ambergris Caye?
- Guests arriving to Belize must transfer via regional flight or boat to the island of Ambergris Caye. Most of our guests choose the flight option for its convenience and comfort. The island’s airstrip is in San Pedro town, the only town located on the island of Ambergris Caye. Casa Amarillo is located approximately 4 miles south of San Pedro town. We are pleased to arrange your regional flights; the cost will simply be added to your incidental bill for payment upon departure.

How do we get to Casa Amarillo upon our arrival to the island?
-We are pleased to arrange your airport transfers; the cost will simply be added to your incidental bill for payment upon departure. Cost of round-trip on-island airport transfers start at US$45.00 per van, a van typically accommodates 1-5 guests + luggage. This cost is added to your incidental bill for payment upon departure.

How far is Casa Amarillo from the airstrip/San Pedro?
-We are located 3 miles south of San Pedro town, the road is partially paved and partially hard-packed sand.

How do we get around the island of Ambergris Caye?
-Your beach home is in the south end area of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro Town. While taxi service is available on island (pay direct), most of our guests enjoy the convenience and novelty of renting a golf cart. You must have a valid driver’s license and be over 18 to drive a golf cart. Reservations are required; the cost will simply be added to your incidental bill for payment upon departure.

What’s included with our home rental?
-We start you off with the basics: Coffee, coffee filters, sugar, salt, pepper, paper towel, dish soap, toilet tissue, laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Is the house air-conditioned?
-The bedrooms are all air-conditioned.

Can you arrange our tours?
-We are happy to customize and pre-book a tour package specific to your interests.
Upon your arrival at your beach getaway, we will review your activities itinerary and issue your tour vouchers. To avoid cancellation penalties – which is often the full price of the tour – you must cancel more than 24-hours to trip departure time.

Is there an outdoor grill?
-A charcoal grill is provided, we can provision your home with charcoal with notice and any related costs will be posted to your incidental account.

Does the home have a telephone?
-There is no landline telephone at Casa Amarillo. We do provide one complimentary local cellular phone with US$5.00 credit. Additional credit can be purchased online or at most corner stores.

Is there highspeed WIFI?
-Complimentary WIFI is included. Please note that WIFI service in Belize will not be as fast or reliable as you are accustomed to and may not be suitable for streaming entertainment.

What TV channels do you have?
-The major USA Networks; ABC, NBC, CBC and FOX as well as their partner news channels are available along with HBO, a variety of movie channels and ESPN sports channels.

Is fishing equipment included?
-No, fishing equipment is not included.

Does the house have laundry facilities?
-Yes, there is a washer and dryer and we get you started with a small bag of laundry detergent.

How is the beach? Can we swim off the beach?
-The beaches of Belize have Seagrass or "Turtle Grass" growing, this is harmless and in fact is an important part of Belize’s ecosystem. This grass can grow in our shallow waters as we have such strong protection from the World's second largest barrier reef. This means our waters are warm, calm, and shallow for quite a way out and we do not for the most part of traditional walk-in beaches. For guests wishing to swim in the Caribbean, our dock has stairs leading into the water, diving is not permitted. Please note: periodically, Belize, along with other areas of Central America, The Caribbean, Mexico, and USA, will experience periods of Sargassum Seaweed washing ashore. Sargassum Seaweed comes from the Sargasso Sea in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and is normally kept at bay by water temperatures and currents. We work diligently to keep our beach clear; however, guests should be aware when visiting coastal areas that seaweed may be present.

Is there a pool onsite?
-We have a small where you can cool down while enjoying the Caribbean views and breezes.

Do you provide pool towels?
-We provide one pool towel per person.

Can we drink the water?
-We start you off with 5-Gallons of purified drinking water in a dispenser. Additional 5-gallons can be provided upon request.

Is there a duty-free shop on the island?
-There is no duty-free shopping available on island. When you arrive in Belize, there is a duty-free shop at baggage claim where you can stock up on liquor and other items if you’d like. You will need to

-We can provide recommendations for provisioning services in advance of your arrival or you can grocery shop once you are on island.

Are there restaurants, bars or grocery stores nearby?
-STAX Coffee bar/restaurant, open seasonally during the day, is located a short walk from our house. The nearest small grocery store is located approximately 1.5 miles north of our location as are Black Orchid and Lonestar restaurants.
