This is a nice, older property that has done some nice updates to their rooms and grounds. Our room was "ocean view" but it was peek a boo at best and was at a junction where there was a lot of foot traffic in front of it so our curtains were closed the majority of the time. We were also placed next to the janitor closet that was not upgraded with insulation during their remodel. Every morning at 8:15am it sounded like someone was coming through the walls and no change made after bringing it to managements attention. Our biggest complaint was the HVAC. It wasn't functioning properly and the humidity was so high that everything (clothes, towels, sheets etc.) were damp the whole time. Although it was a nice property and great location, I'm not sure I would recommend.

the hotel was under renovation with its most rooms that was not highlighted in their reservation. rooms are very small for the price. lobby area very lacking . it was just OK I would not stay there again

Very nice location and beautiful property. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room had a cleanliness issue with the wardrobe (dusty and lots of greasy hand prints), and the TV steaming situation was clumsy and difficult to set up. Also a bummer that the main pool and hot tub were closed for renovations. Overall a nice place to stay though.

Room was very small it’s valet parking only which is silly because the rooms are so spread out so you have to drop off your car and walk with all your stuff . It was raining super hard so we we’re soaked ! The chads restaurant was super cute but the food was awful ! The location is good right accross from the beach . I def would not stay again size of the room for the cost wasn’t mathing

It would be rainning severely on Dec 25th and flood warning in santa baraba and a lot places in CA. I called to cancel the hotel reservation on dec 24th, the hotel Manager refused to give the refund. I didn't travel for 5 hrs to follow CA traffic recommendation and lost my deposit. Just terrible how the hotel handled the refund due to weather.
