When we arrived in Santa Fe before we stayed at the Sage I thought it looked dated and I was concerned about staying there later in the week. I found that my assumptions were incorrect after checking in. Everything worked well and the location makes most of the sights walk able. The breakfast was good, check in and out efficient.

Clean room and a nice breakfast
Second time I stayed at this property, a year apart. I wished I recalled having an adjoining door with next door unit, as that same situation occured on this trip. Both times neighbors were talking or watching TV as I was trying to lay down. The room was very clean and planety of hot water to soak in after trekking around the Plaza at night in November. Breakfast also very good. Recommend this property also in case someone interested in walking to the Plaza, which I did on both visits.

Great little place to stay if you are budget minded and don’t mind the following: The bathroom needed repairs to the toilet and shower. One light switch in the bathroom did not work, another had tape over it. The ceiling was either dirty, or had some mold spots. The shower head pipes were coming out of the wall. When flushing the toilet, there was a loud moaning noise that came from inside the wall.

Super easy to find and park at the property. Front desk was super friendly and polite. Room was immaculately cleanly, and stocked with essentials like coffee, makeup wipes, outlets right by bed, etc. One of the better motels I have stayed at by miles. Complimentary breakfast was delicious with many options, and dining area was clean and equipped with a warm, cozy fireplace. Had such a good experience we decided to extend our stay one night. Attached restaurant had affordable, yummy food and drinks, and fun events going on like happy hour and bingo.

When a motel tacks on an extra price for "amenities," as the Sage did, including something as ubiquitous as Wi-Fi, it should be functional. It was not and I needed for it to be. I never got more than two bars of Wi-Fi in my room, and I was repeatedly disconnected from it. I went to the lobby twice and asked for them to fix this, but nothing changed. Also, one of the windows was so cloudy with muck that my view out of it was obscured. I photographed this, but apparently won't be able to share that photo in this space.
