El hotel estaba muy limpio, nuestra habitación era espaciosa y cómoda, y el servicio a la habitación fue de primera categoría. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estancia y sin duda volveremos. We had an amazing experience at this hotel, thanks to Alexandra's excellent welcome. She provided us with a map and recommended places to visit, which was incredibly helpful for our first visit to Santiago. The hotel was very clean, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the room service was top-notch. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. It is just steps away from the Cathedral, Plaza del Obradoiro in front and Hostal de Los Reyes Católicos! An excellent and affordable restaurant is in the Plaza de Cervantes, a few steps away also, its name is Manolo!

Hotel is in the center of the historic area close to the cathedral. It’s on a narrow street filled with walkers but a taxi can get to the door. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast was good. We had the “basic room” which was small but fine with a very clean bathroom. Walk to many restaurants.

Room was small and getting into and out of the shower was awkward and dangerous. I change a 2 day booking starting May 15 to a 2 day booking starting May 14 and had to pay €50 more. No reasonable explanation was provided regarding the additional cost. I would not recommend this hotel chain.

The Hotel Carris is in a wonderful location -- near the center of the old town and just a short walk to the Cathedral. The room was small, but was comfortable for two. The staff was extremely helpful and warm. The only quibble: the water temperature in the shower was finicky.
