This is the Mother House, where the family lived. It owes its name to the Marmeleiros that abounded in the farm, which in autumn, when they fructified, gave a characteristic yellowish color to all the surrounding area, leading to it becoming known as the Quinta do Marmeleiro. The house was restored and rebuilt as a typical Alentejo building with thick walls for a better adaptation to the seasons, ideal for a good nap in the summer, due to its freshness, and for drinking a good glass of wine by the fireplace in the winter. Casa Marmeleiro (T2 - max 6 pax) Composition: 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 twin bedroom. Sleeper sofa with double bed. It has 1 bathroom, equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, outdoor garden area.
Quinta do Marmeleiro is located on the road that connects the villages of Catifarras to Aldeia do Cano, about 6 km from the village of Cercal do Alentejo, municipality of Santiago do Cacém, district of Setúbal.
