Charming boutique hotel very convenient to all the shops and restaurants on the Rua das Pedras. Staff was very friendly and promptly addressed any problems. Great location with a beautiful view. Very safe.

Wonderful location on the beach and walking distance to shops, restaurants and boating in Buzios. Absolutely loved the staff here!!!! Very accommodating, also wonderful HUGE breakfast. Great price and location, I highly recommend Hotel El Cazar when visiting Buzios.

Fabulous stay at El Cazar! Staff wonderful and attentive! Great view from cozy, unique rooms filled with artwork and treasures the owners have acquired over the years. Felt like we were staying in a private home. Special thanks to Leah who arranged coffee and croissants at 6 am for us as we had earlier flight plan change. Definitely will return!

Loved every minute! Want to go back...
When we opened the doors onto our balcony for the first time our reaction was wow! Wonderful location with panoramic views. Just a short walk by the sea to the lovely town of Buzios with its bars, restaurants etc, perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff nothing was too much trouble, very comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean, bathrooms could do with updating but are perfectly acceptable. Otherwise the Hotel has some lovely wooden floors and decor, lounge and dining room furnishings are very tasteful and homely. We loved every minute, just. 25 or so rooms made the place feel like home.The pool and terrace are great and the views spectacular. What more could you want and a great location so close to everything but very quiet. A great place to relax and enjoy.

Before booking El Cazar, we looked at multiple areas in Buzios and glad we settled on this hotel. If you want the right balance of relaxation, and good location then this is for you. And in addition you have the cliff top view.

Really enjoyed staying at Hotel El Cazar
I stayed at this hotel for the third time. I really enjoy it. The owners are wonderful people and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient for a short walk to the bars and restaurants in centro or the beach. The only thing I wish would improve is the wifi. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in a great location!
Great location close to Rua Das Pedras with a gorgeous view and pool. Fantastic breakfast and very courteous staff. The room is small and not overly modernized, but comfortable with an authentic Brazilian feel. We LOVE Buzios and would definitely go back to The El Cazar.
