Room was in disrepair. Tarp in bathroom loose, toilet seat falling off, doors not square and hard to close. Hallway door loose and often sounded like someone trying to get in from banging loose door. Won’t be back

The hotel is under a major renovation and I wasn’t aware of that. Had I been aware of the renovation I would have stayed elsewhere. No pool , no hot tub and the gym was open but the only 2 treadmills were out of order. There was vandalism to vehicles in the parking lot , broken windows and flat tires so not a very pleasant experience.

The hotel was under construction. The ice machines were hit and miss and had to go to different floors to grab ice. It was nice that there was security and the elevators were card activated.

The place was so noisy. I talked to front desk so many times about people banging on doors at 2 am. Then when I asked why I didn't have my room cleaned, they told me I have to ask for that. Where does it tell us when we check in that we have to ask for clean rooms. I stay at a lot of Sandmans across Canada and this is worse than any other hotel I stayed at. Terrible service and don't care about the client

Accessible room smelt like smoke so we moved to a second room. Then that room had broken beer bottle shards on the floor. The staff argued with us about the broken glass so we left the hotel. The rooms weren’t clean.

It was pathetic and spoiled our vacation. they had power cut from evening to midnight right after chek in, no swimming pool access and upon asking on arrival we get to know they are renovating. we had to take stair upto 4th floor with luggage.we have to out for late night as not comfortable there without power cut that disturbed or sleep and vacation. we paid good amount for that room for booking and regret it now. hotels should have power backup and service for such events.

Dog friendly stay

I travelled with my dog, the room was just ok, nothing fancy but was clean. Towel rack fell off when I grabbed a towel, bed was sloping so not a great sleep, did not have regular coffee in the room, only had a chocolate coffee, there was regular coffee at front desk. It was under construction in the front area, they tried to accommodate best they could. Blow dryer quit after 5 mins, asked to have another one but was left a note how to turn it on from maintenance. Obviously, they did not understand the issue, I was a bit offended with the blue tape on the On switch.... The staff at front desk were pleasant to deal with. Price and value....not sure it matches.
