I booked this place a week in advance. I spoke with the rental company that was listed on the email 4 hours ahead to confirm the key codes and rental location. When we arrived we opened the key lock box and the keys weren't in it. My girlfriend checked the door and it was open. When we went inside their were other people already there. I confirmed the address and decided to call the contact again. They said I didn't have a reservation and that I needed to contact expedia. After about an hour on the phone with 4 different expedia employees they told me that I could have an equivalent residence but at $400 dollars more. Or I could choose to take a motel 6 on the outskirts of Savannah. It was Christmas Eve and I everything in town that was in my price range was booked. Expedia refused to cover the cost difference and just said sorry. So I ended up staying in a Clarion on the edge of town and taking an uber in. It was supposed to be a special evening and it was mostly ruined. We salvaged what we could of it and rented an airbnb the following day. The whole experience was a disaster and customer service was a disgrace. But on the upside we saw the inside of the Isaac Laroche house and it looked amazing..
