Banjos Cabin Gippsland: NEW Hamptons Retreat | King Bed Valley Views
Summary:
Escape to our brand NEW Hamptons style Eco-Retreat!
Nestled in the rolling hills of central Gippsland, this tranquil 8.5 acre retreat invites you to step away from the hustle and embrace the simplicity of nature with all the adventure this region has to offer!
Located just 10 minutes from the charming country town of Heyfield, this beautifully designed Greenstead offers a unique blend of eco-living and rural charm, perfect for anyone seeking rejuvenation, inspiration, or a memorable getaway!
The Space:
Tiny romantic adventure!
Wake up to golden sunrises with your own outdoor brekkie bar with breathtaking valley views from your private deck. You’ll be overlooking ducks swimming in our dam and our emerging food forest, surrounded by our friendly miniature sheep happily grazing, along with horses and cows on neighbouring properties.
Spend your day exploring quaint country towns, savouring local wines, woodfired pizza & hearty pub meals.
Stroll through scenic bushland trails, cool off at Blue Pool Waterhole, or relax by tranquil Lake Glenmaggie. As the day winds down, return to your cosy Hamptons-style retreat for stunning sunsets over Gippsland valleys with kangaroos grazing in the distance.
Your perfect escape for adventure, relaxation & natural beauty!
Enjoy all the comforts of home with everything you could need to unwind after a day of adventure from a split system (heating / cooling) to a large 55’ TCL smart TV with Stan, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus and YouTube.
There are beautiful SMEG appliances (kettle and large toaster) along with an electric cooktop, bar fridge, microwave, blender, slow cooker, pod coffee machine and a large ceramic water filter.
Luxe King size bed linens, pure cotton waffle bath robes, towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided; along with complimentary slippers, goat milk soap, tea, coffee, biscuits and more!
There is an emerging food forest (with over 30 varieties of young fruit trees), a dam, miniature pet babydoll sheep, breathtaking views and scenery stretching from the high country mountains to the valley and state forest. Plenty of wild life and farm animals around to enjoy.
Guest Access:
Guests can enjoy access to the entire 8.5 acre Greenstead.
This property is only suitable for adults over the age of 21 years. There is an unfenced dam in front of the cabin along with other unsafe areas for children.
Other Things to Note:
Being brand new this cabin doesn’t yet have any ratings, however if you click on ratings below you can read over 70 reviews for our other cottage which was built by the same builder and is 400m up the road on a separate acreage. This cabin is a few metres longer than our original ‘Gumnut Cottage’ but encompasses very similar styling and design features.
This Greenstead cabin shares the property with a beautifully renovated self-contained retro glamping caravan. The van is used by our family and is based over 150 metres away.
Important Notes:
- Pricing for bookings of 2 nights or more is currently discounted by 30-40% off standard rates (showing up as a long stay discount) as the property / cabin is newly developed and the following works are still being finalised
- we are awaiting a repairman to fix some of the blinds which are not currently fully closing. Photos show the blinds fully extended as currently installed. They go most of the way down :)
- There are some minor ongoing driveway works still to be completed. Care will need to be taken on the edges of the driveway (especially when turning / reversing). Photos have been included in the listing for your kind review prior to booking thanks.
- Grass has yet to regrow in certain areas from the earthworks undertaken over recent months (including around the cabin) which is causing dusty conditions (especially when windy). We have taken care to also show this as best we can in the photos. We have faux grass to pop down until the grass regrows to reduce the dust.
Interaction with Guests:
The host is generally hands off and not often on site with guests with a focus on providing privacy for guests - however is fully contactable 24/7 via phone or message for any queries and goes above and beyond to ensure an exceptionally memorable experience! Recognised as a superhost year on year, and passionate about creating unique experiential stays for guests to explore this beautiful region.
