My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in Seattle and absolutely loved it. She liked the uniqueness of the rooms, the restaurant, and the common area off the main floor off the lobby. Staff is great and very attentive. Great breakfast, didn’t have lunch or dinner, but had drinks in the evening and it was a cool place to relax at the end of the day of sightseeing before heading back up to the room. Room was very quaint and unique and perfect for long weekend. Bathroom is cute, a bit tight, but very doable for a couple. The location is excellent and that’s why you would stay here. Literally one block away from Pikes Place market which we started two of our mornings at the original Starbucks before the crowd, grabbed a coffee, then walked down some steps and walked the waterfront. Came back up when the stores were open and browsed. If you want to catch a ferry, it’s all right there. Only drawback is parking. After a day we figured it out, but recommended parking is about 3 blocks away on a not so great block. Initially dropped all our bags off and then took the car to parking. Subsequent visits walked to parking structure and saw the town and then parked and then walked back to the hotel. Upon departure for an early flight, walked to the parking area at 3 a.m. then drove back to pick up bags… If you’re comfortable walking in an intercity environment, with all that has to offer, parking 3 blocks away is no big deal, then this is an amazing hotel. If not, it’s not.

Excellent check-in/out staff and cleaning staff. Right in the heart of downtown - which was both a pro and con. Made it extra noisy (poor windows also) and many homeless. Great for sights.

I’ll start by saying I have high standards for cleanliness and Palihotel just didn’t cut it. There was dust/debris along window sills, dust on lamps, white paint/scratches where the green pain would normally be. There was white powder on the bathroom door? The green paint in the bathroom was moisture damaged from the shower steam. Towels smelled like mildew and were dingy. Our TV didn’t work. The good: it’s very convenient to Pikes Place. The decor is so nice. They have a wonderful lobby area. The service was exceptional. Yes, you can hear the busy city noise and we loved it. We slept with the windows open we loved it so much. If you don’t like, bring earbuds. There is a cafe/restaurant in the building and both were lovely. The bed was comfy. Overall a comfortable stay just some cleanliness issues imo.

Overall a really lovely stay if you want to be near the market. My only negative was since this is a small and seemingly older building, the soundproofing for external noises wasn’t great, so if city noises disturb you and you want to stay here, I’d ensure you have a water view room to keep you out of the alley that trucks and people alike like to use late at night

Excellent location for a brief stay, which is what we had planned. Street noise was significant while trying to sleep in the room was tiny, but the service was excellent and ambience good overall.

Right next to Pike Place so it was convenient. They should make it a point to explain parking PRIOR to guest arrival. Theres a parking lot right behind the building that you lay to park for just to later be told not to park there at check-in. Then given instructions to park 3 blocks down. Wasted money. Front desk girl was very ditzy and lacked customer service. We arrived early and hung-out for 2 hours in sight over her. After asking several times if the room was ready she could of EASILY waved us down when it was ready but failed to do so. After asking directly at check-in time again she seemed like we never spoke before. Completely clueless on her phone. Was ok for one night for what we needed. Cute quaint place but that skewed our view of it the rest of our stay.

The room I got on orbitz was labeled as "Deluxe" - when we got there, we were told we had ordered a standard room and that Queen deluxe was not a category. We had to have the curtains closed at all times because our windows were within 12 feet of the other room windows across the way. Orbitz had told us we'd have a city view with the deluxe room. The room was small for two people...but cute and quaint. The staff was fantasic and the restaurant/bar next door was great. The location was absolutely perfect.

Lovely hotel in a great location
This was my second stay at the Palihotel. This boutique hotel has smaller rooms, but they are comfortable and have a mini fridge with a little space to put your own bottes of water. The rooms (especially the interior rooms) tend to be dark because of the dark color of the walls. Exterior rooms have more light - but you get the outside noise. The library is a very comfortable space to relax/ gather with friends. Restaurant has a nice menu and friendly service. Highly recommend and is where I will stay when in Seattle.
