The word for this property is old. A second word/phrase would be poorly maintained. A third would be dilapidated.
It is obvious that the owners of this hotel are interested in bleeding every penny they can out of the place while putting nary a nickel into it. This hotel is not at all inexpensive. It’s just so run down for the money.
In our room (140) alone, the sad, old hair dryer doesn’t work, the old A/C unit rattles, the bathroom exhaust fan is dead, there’s no soap in the shower, they didn’t have housekeeping make up our room between the days of our stay, no fresh towels were available, the old blinds leaked light like a sieve, and the shower drain was clogged. Need I go on? The place is just old, worn, and tired. At $50 per night this hotel would be fine. For what they charge it’s a ripoff.
