The Lobby was nice and the location was very upscale, but the building itself was very run down and dirty. There was a Hilton on one side of the hotel that made the Red Lion look extremely rundown. The carpets in the halls were extremely dirty, there was trash piled up and an old wood crate around the door when I first walked in, made it feel extra dirty. The room itself was clean, bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice, as long as I was in the room it was fine. Also I got in early and tried to check in at 3:00, staff was not willing to help at all even kind of laughed at me. Rude

Food under bed and phone broken and bathroom fan seemed like it wasn't running. Also saw the pool guy add chemicals but not take the time to clean up the huge pile of puke next to the pool.

About only thing I liked was the shower - water was hot, pressure good. Bed was Ok. I asked the maintenance guy how to keep the room fan on to mask freeway and hotel noise. (It was not a quiet place.) He said the hotel room fans don’t stay on - in order to conserve energy. He very kindly brought me a portable fan to help mask the noise of the room fan going on and off and all the other extraneous noises. I wouldn’t have slept a wink otherwise. Carpet in room had a musty odor. I woke up with a headache. At checkout an older employee behind the front desk seemed to be arguing / talking with the younger employee about something on the computer while I stood there in front of them and waited. The younger employee (who also kindly helped me at check in) was professional and patient with the older one. Parking lot was pocked marked and rough. Felt unsafe. I will not choose to stay there again.

The staff was kind and considerate at the front desk. The room was dated and the carpet looked old in the hallway. It needed a good vacuum. The door to the bathroom looked like it had hairspray or something sticky on it. The room smelled okay but it looked like it needed to be cleaned better.

They charge for parking and don’t tell you it doesn’t say that when you book it online but when you check out you find out you get charged $16 and they walk in on you without properly k picking on your door and open it part way when you ask can I help you they just fully walk in that is not ok and there is a do not enter sign on the door
