I was sent 3 messages prior to arriving reminding me that check in is at 4pm. I Tried to check in at 3:50 and but our room wasn’t ready and was reminded that check in is at 4pm and come back in 20 minutes. At 4:15 I tried to check in again was told our room wasn’t ready and come back in 15-20 minutes.

The authentic 1900's charm felt warm & comfortable. The front desk service was excellent - friendly, helpful, always a warm & personable welcome. Received no hospitality service, but it was only a 2 night stay so not a big issue. Would consider staying again.

Excellent hotel, perfectly clean, awesome bar, awesome food. Great atmosphere and plenty of seating areas for meetings. Love the rooms and the staff is so friendly. Ilana was especially welcoming and friendly, had a small issue and she immediately went above and beyond to assist. Will be staying here every time we come to Seattle.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful little bar with delicious food and drinks. The rooms were very clean and so cute and comfortable. Lots of little details like a water station, complimentary breakfast (which was yummy and lots of options) and we were even greeted with champagne!

This could be a good hotel for some people but it was not my cup of tea. The room does not have a typical coffee maker; there was a strange setup with a tea kettle and a french press. This could be good for some but i dont know how to use a french press so it meant i couldnt have coffee in my room at my convenience. there are no vending machines with soda etc, though there is a very pricey convenience store. i supposedly qualified for VIP benefits but these were not mentioned until it was too late to use them, making them worthless. the hotel's info made it sound like the only parking option was valet, so i committed to using that before later finding out there apparently is an attached parking lot that would have probably been a far better option for me. the hotel lobby is really a bar and while tame by seattle standards it can get lively, even a bit rowdy. good for some folks but not what i wanted. the breakfast buffet was above average for hotel buffet fare but not to my personal taste. the room was very small and the bed was tiny. it was actually comfortable but i was almost too tall to lay down in it. there were almost $100 in additional charges, on top of the rate advertised by expedia, not counting the valet parking charge. in terms of how much i personally enjoyed the stay it would be a 1 out of 5 (terrible) but i gave a score of 3 out of 5 because some of the things that i hated could be good for other guests.
