HIKERS HIDEOUT IN WEST SEDONA

A super quiet, super private, and super hidden place to get away from the world and relax. Amazing Red Rock Views and major trailhead 50 yards away from the property. Though we invite anyone to come enjoy our accommodations, this is the perfect spot for those who love to hike or mountain bike. Once you check in start with a stocked kitchenette, charcuterie board and a glass of wine. Have a seat on your private deck and enjoy the view of Sugarloaf Summit peaking from behind the greenery of the neighborhood.
There are select treats, soft drinks, and bottled water for your adventures. You may prepare a meal using either the kitchenette or the grill which has a griddle insert. We also provide basic ingredients to get you started. We have a list of our favorite dining destinations in the area and can direct you to the best winery’s and tasting rooms in Arizonas wine country. We start you off with select complementary bottles of wine and champagne.

From here you are a 2 minute drive down the hill to SR 89A, Sedona’s main drag with abundant shopping possibilities and dining experiences. Native to Northern Arizona, we are a phone call away with all the inside info on things to do in the area and what to avoid. We provide an information book with everything you need to know for your stay in Sedona. What we do not provide is a television (We hope you wouldn’t come here to watch the Telly) there is so very much to do and see here! Don’t waste a minute! Sedona is a magical place, and we aim to provide an equally magical lodging experience.

Sandra will be your primary host. She speaks English, Spanish and German and is a fantastic cook. Sandra will make sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. You will also have contact information for your secondary host, Rick (who also speaks German) in the event you are in need of information or assistance.

Also, this is a wonderful neighborhood in which to take an evening or morning stroll and soak in all the natural beauty. The off-shoot trailhead just North of the property connects to Sugarloaf Trail and will branch to other popular trails in the area. This is just a fraction of the local splendor. And honestly, Sedona is only a taste of what this vast wonderland has to offer. One visit simply wont cut it.

Reasonably Priced Home Base to Explore Sedona.

The place is as advertised. Very clean. Many thoughtful amenities. Beautiful neighborhood. Quiet and private. The place is small -- one bedroom and bathroom with a private entrance -- but somehow the hosts managed to fit in a well-stocked kitchenette in the closet. The bathroom sink doubles as a kitchen sink. Everything is labeled and hyper-organized. I considered the small size a reasonable trade-off for the reasonable price. I'm glad I looked at the pictures closely so I knew what to expect. It was lifesaver to be able to prepare a simple meal when I arrived late and didn't want to go out. The resident (outdoor-only) black cat is sweet and friendly. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Very very organized. Someone likes the label maker! Notes clearly make you want to be quiet, so we found ourselves whispering to not be a bother. Some pics are misleadingp1

Truly for hikers

Nice quiet area. 5 minutes from great hike. Great deck. Great amount of complimentary food, beverages and snacks. The place is tiny. No real kitchen but a food prep closet. Although there were pans etc it would be hard to make a full meal. Many places to eat nearby.

Perfect Spot!

My daughter and I were super happy with our stay! It is small (all we needed) but HUGE on character! It is super safe and private even tho it is connected to the main house. You have your own entrance with a secure gate that you can lock if you feel the need, we did not. The area is a quite little neighborhood not far from the main road. The first night we arrived we saw Javelina's! They were so cute! (we watched them from our deck) The owners left us SO many great snacks!! We had drinks, chips, eggs, butter, tuna pouches, sugar, tea, coffee, bread, jelly (you get the idea!!) and there were even toiletries! You do not have to buy anything extra for your stay here. They really thought of everything! It's great that a host will give back to the guest like they do Loved the heater/fireplace hanging on the wall. We did not have any complaints, as out stay was perfect for us! I will add there is a heater in the bottom right drawer in the bathroom, we found it on the last day. The shower is small and you wash your dishes in the bathroom sink and no TV (we loved the break) none of this was an issue for us. The owners were fast to respond with our question's. Oh if you are sitting on the deck you might get a sweet visit from their (kitty) Misha. She was super sweet, friendly and loved scratches behind her ears We also had a squirrel in a tree that chatted with us. Loved our stay here!

Lovely stay!

The room was charming and little kitchenette well stocked and equipped. Had the weather been a little warmer, we would have enjoyed being able to sit out on the porch. With temperatures in the 20's and 30's, we felt a little confined with only the bed and the small kitchen table to sit at while not hiking or out to eat.

Beautiful place and ideal location.

This cozy place is an ideal way to experience Sedona. While small, the hosts have thought of absolutely everything. From snacks and beverages (including coffee and wine) to warm robes. The location was perfect and we loved walking out the door and hitting the trails. It was also great to be out of the chaos of downtown Sedona. We even say javalinas outside the door one night. An excellent place to stay!

Great stay! The host was very responsive. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making our stay comfortable by providing his and hers robes, lots of snacks, wine, champagne, sodas etc! So sweet! The linens and towels were nice, and the place was very clean. We’d visit again!

Nice Quiet Neighborhood, Close to Hiking and Town

We enjoyed our stay and it met our needs. Very close to town and all the major hiking trailheads. Quiet neighborhood. The snacks, eggs, bread, etc. were wonderful...didn't have to go to the store first thing. Easy to cook breakfast there every morning. Would definitely recommend!
