Location is nice and within walking distance which is a plus since parking is a premium. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Also, the lobby doesn’t open until 8 so if you are an early riser then you are out of luck.

In a town like Sedona the Matterhorn made perfect sense for us. It a clean and conveniently located near loads of shops snd restaurants. The view from the rooms is fantastic. If you need a spa and all that fancy stuff, don’t stay here but if you just want to get into Sedona and enjoy it, this is that place.

Perfect location, beautiful views, clean room. Don’t expect much of a breakfast…just granola bars and a piece of fruit, but would definitely stay here again.

It's in the heart of downtown Sedona.... an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We did not use the pool or hot tub but it looked nice and clean.

The room was big, modern, and in very good condition. The location in town was excellent. Service was poor. The office is only open 8am-9pm. There is no daily maid service. They advertise that they serve breakfast, but actually, they just set out some yogurt, granola bars, and a little fruit for guests to take back to their rooms, as there is no dining area. Not really breakfast in my book. For the price, you can do better.

Location is perfect for hiking trails. Dining, shopping. Parking can be a little tricky - they have over flow lot but also gets full. Staff not very friendly. Breakfast as others said- minimal - & time at 8am is way too late to make it work for hikers etc.- but rooms comfortable, modern and not overly small. It’s the location that makes it worth it.

We stayed in a superior king room with Mountain View balcony and it was fantastic. The room was modern and nicely decorated with useful extras such as fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, coffee maker and even make up remover cloths. Coffee also available in the lobby. Bed really comfortable and it was so nice opening the curtains to such a beautiful view in the morning. Breakfast was grab and go consisting of a range of cereal bars, fruit and yogurt. The hotel is in a good location amongst the upper Sedona shops and restaurants. Lobby staff friendly and helpful in suggesting self tours of historic local towns. Highly recommend.

Great location but Sedona was busier and more touristy than we expected. Breakfast at Matterhorn was limited to pre-packaged items - granola bars, yogurt and coffee/tea. Super convenient parking and access to many nearly restaurants.

Wonderful

Great location. Our room was large, comfortable and offered excellent scenic views. Hot tub was nice. Small continental breakfast, not much to speak of but it did give us some coffee, yogurt and fruit. We liked this place.
