Older renovated hotel, but clean and comfortable.

Convenient to some shopping, restaurants, etc. If you don’t have a car, there is a shuttle nearby to trailheads. Can walk to coffee shop in adjacent parking lot. We drove to surrounding locations because the hotel sits on a hill and the climb is difficult for older folks. This is an older renovated two story hotel without an elevator, so expect that. Our 2nd floor end unit king room was clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious, had a balcony and view of shops and mountains. They should skip the grab and go packaged breakfast option. Unless you’re an early morning hiker, you’ll most likely go elsewhere for breakfast. There is a very small pool and play area in the parking lot.

We stayed at the Vista Villa. The house was very clean and well stocked with amenities. We enjoyed drinking our coffe out on the porch - the view was beautiful! The house was within walking distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful time and would definitely loved to come back again.

Best thing was the room was big and you do have views with the room/area. The room was also clean which is very important. But for how expensive it was, and no breakfast other than some bars and bananas, keurig in the room w/only 2 pods just didn’t seem worth it for the price to us. Others may disagree. The staff was fine but not warm and welcoming. And felt weird that the front desk closed at 8 or 9pm and didn’t open till 8am. That was late as they have coffee in the office area and water to refill your cup. Pool/hot tub area was nice though we didn’t take advantage. We also didn’t realize this off the main strip of Sedona and it was very busy when we went. Overall if you don’t mind the cost and being on the strip, good to go.

The hotel is in a convenient location in Uptown Sedona. Parking was limited if you got back in the afternoon, but there are public lots nearby that you can park in overnight. The lobby didn't open until 8:00 so we weren't able to grab any snacks before we went hiking. The room was spacious and comfortable.

I would have appreciated a better and more friendly explanation of parking when checking in along with more friendly recommendations for dining. Very friendly person when checking out. Not so much checking in. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom door would not stay closed. Overall room was very clean and comfy.

Location is nice and within walking distance which is a plus since parking is a premium. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Also, the lobby doesn’t open until 8 so if you are an early riser then you are out of luck.

In a town like Sedona the Matterhorn made perfect sense for us. It a clean and conveniently located near loads of shops snd restaurants. The view from the rooms is fantastic. If you need a spa and all that fancy stuff, don’t stay here but if you just want to get into Sedona and enjoy it, this is that place.

It's in the heart of downtown Sedona.... an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We did not use the pool or hot tub but it looked nice and clean.

The room was big, modern, and in very good condition. The location in town was excellent. Service was poor. The office is only open 8am-9pm. There is no daily maid service. They advertise that they serve breakfast, but actually, they just set out some yogurt, granola bars, and a little fruit for guests to take back to their rooms, as there is no dining area. Not really breakfast in my book. For the price, you can do better.
