Beachfront Cabin – Pet-Friendly Romantic Escape w/ Views & Huge Deck
Welcome to The Bald Eagle—a cozy, pet-friendly cabin with stunning ocean and mountain views, just 200 feet from the beach. Perfect for couples or small families, it features a queen bedroom, full kitchen, gas fireplace, fast Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and a full-size futon in the living area. Enjoy a huge private deck, fire pit, and endless outdoor adventures from your doorstep. Ideal basecamp for hiking, kayaking, fishing and exploring the Olympic Peninsula.
We live on the property and are available if you need anything—but we respect your privacy and give guests space to enjoy their stay. We're just a quick message away via the Airbnb app or text, and we're happy to offer local tips, directions, or help if anything comes up.
This is a remote area with easy highway access. Your neighbors, the Bald Eagles, can get chippy at dawn and sunset, but your other neighbors the Sea Otters and the Seals are generally pretty quiet. If you don't like the sound of wave lapping at the shore, this is probably not the place for you.
Access is off highway 112, and parking is right in front of the cabin. There is space for 2 vehicles and a boat trailer.
Guests have full access to The Bald Eagle cabin, including the private deck, full kitchen, and all interior spaces. You’ll also have access to our park-like grounds and a shared fire pit area. Our private beach is just a 200-foot walk across the lawn and is exclusively for guests. Self-check-in is available via keyless entry, and there's free parking steps from the front door.
entire 600 s.f. home. 1 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath,
Step inside The Bald Eagle and experience the comfort of a true coastal retreat. This 600 sq. ft. cabin blends rustic charm with upscale touches: 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, thick plush towels, high-quality cookware and silverware, and even Charmin toilet paper. Spa-quality body wash and shampoo provided by SoapBox. Every window frames breathtaking views of the ocean or mountains. The full kitchen makes home-cooked meals a breeze, while the gas fireplace sets the mood after a day of adventure. With a queen bedroom, full-size futon, spacious deck, and shared fire pit, it's ideal for couples or small families. Just 200 feet from a private beach and minutes from hiking, kayaking, and fishing, this is where outdoor enthusiasts and comfort seekers meet.
Outside- trailer and large vehicle parking comes with rental. Unlike everyone else in our market we do NOT stack a maximum number of cabins on the property. There are just 3 rental cabins on 8 acres! By comparison Holbuck stuffs 18 cabins onto 3 acres, and 2 places in Forks stuff 8 and 10 cabins on just 1 acre.
A car is essential for exploring this remote, scenic part of the Olympic Peninsula. Free parking is available onsite with plenty of space for trailers or extra vehicles. We're located just off Highway 112, making it easy to access local attractions like Neah Bay, Cape Flattery, and Lake Ozette—all within a 20–45 minute drive. There are no ride-share services in the area, so plan accordingly.
This is a great stop for those who are exploring the area on kayak, bicycles or motorcycles.
TIPS: Bring lawn games, volleyball net, frisbee, kites. Don't be surprised if curious seals, river otters and eagles stop to watch you play.
Our properties are protected by TRUVI - a globally recognized trust and safety company that allows hosts and guests to confidently transact.
UNLESS YOU BOOK THROUGH AIRBNB, once you have booked, your booking confirmation will include your TRUVI booking validation link. The validation process includes ID verification. Guests who book through Airbnb have this built into your 15% Airbnb fee, thus no additional insurance or ID verification is required.
We also use TURVI for short-term renter's insurance. They'll collect either a fully refundable deposit (plus a non-refundable admin fee) or a non-refundable damage waiver.
Both the deposit and the waiver cover you for any accidental damage caused during your stay. Please complete your validation prior to check-in.
The hot water is slow to get to the shower. The fireplace should be lit and set on the lowest setting, but sometimes a fireplace turned off will get past us. It can be difficult to light so consult the house manual and/or call us and we will do it for you. You will need to bring your own firewood for the fire pit. You may burn anything that is loose, but it tends to be wet.
A well supplies the water. Like most coastal wells the water has a tint varying between a green tea and a weak black tea. It is chlorinated and goes through a triple filter and is even safe to drink. Nevertheless we provide drinking water via a water cooler with Olympic Springs
