The front desk and restaurant staff were wonderful! Breakfast buffet and restaurant food very good. Pool and deck nice. The room was somewhat run down. Mosque sounds loud at 4am. I tried to book a meeting room and catered lunch for 25 people for two full days, corresponding weeks in advance, and was told yes, but never given a chance to pay. Then my meeting room booking was cancelled the day before with no explanation. Very frustrating. I also booked nonsmoking double rooms for 17 people and some of the rooms offered were queen beds in smoking room. My colleague could not breathe in the smoking room and asked to be moved but was told the hotel was full. The staff "cleaned"the room again but the shell if she was still sickening. She called the desk again at midnight threatening to leave and they finally moved her to a non smoking room. I would recommend Quest before the game for money is really good, but be prepared for challenges.
Very appreciate for the hotel staff, especially for the housekeeping team. In this vacation, my second daughter got sick and vomitted so many times. They are really helpful and kind.

Lost my stay
Actually I don't know what happened with my booking but I'm not stay in this hotel for this booking number. The hotel's staff said my booking was cancelled by Hotel.com. When I checked actually the number booking was cancelled isn't same with my this number booking to stay. And I also not received cancelation email for this booking. I want to call Hotel.com but the number was busy. Lucky me, I choose to pay at the property so it isn't charge to my credit card number.
A good reasonably priced hotel. Fast and efficient check in and out with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and big enough for our needs. Our bedsheets could have done with better cleaning though but overall im happy with the room. Hotel has a nice near roof top pool and our room was facing the pool. Few places to eat outside hence we didn't bother with hotel food.
Poor service started at the front desk. Request prior to arrival for a quiet and non smoking room was ignored upon check in. Was told there were no rooms left on the non smoking floor. I raised this as an issue and they very quickly found a room. The beddings were dirty and stained. The bath towels were more grey in colour than white. They also had extremely loud music playing at 7am on Saturday with some so called exercise class for their staff. No idea why it had to be done at 7am when you have paid guests staying. There are better hotels in Semarang for sure.

This is my second stay at this hotel . Theres no complaints. Just that the air conditioning should be better
Check in is a breeze. Breakfast is good. Clean room, can be better if they have more soap/shampoo but we asked the housekeeping and they were easy to talk with. Good place to stay!
We have a pick up from the airport. You can take the Blue Bird taxi also and is cheaper than those touting outside the airport. Remember to buy the taxi ticket at the airport. Those people touting for passengers will cut throat you
Staff friendly, room quite big and comfortable. Breakfast good with variety. For the price we pay not much complain. Only setback the shopping are
Not so near and you need to take a cab or becak but not expensive. Outside hotel many make shift stalls selling their local delicacy and reasonable price. There is a small supermarket just opposite the hotel. Overall exceptable.
My stay at the Quest Hotel was just what I expected, comfortable with no hidden surprises. It very convenient to the central area of Semarang and I enjoyed walking around the area because of China Town being in the area. My only complaint would be the hotel could provide better choices for breakfast, like more selections for their Western Clients.
