FALL:
Enjoy the stunning fall leaves changing while warming up to a campfire, or going on ATV adventures. Packer fans - we're just a 30-minute drive from Lambeau Field. The dock cannot be guaranteed between October 13 to late spring.

WINTER:
Live in a winter wonderland with ice fishing, snowmobiling, crafting/quilting, and loving the view of freshly fallen snow. Multiple Indoor electric fireplaces will keep you cozy on cold nights. Shawano Lake is known for its ice fishing. Fish on the lake include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, and Sturgeon. Christmas lovers - the halls are decked out for your holiday!

SPRING:
Embrace the emergence of nature by listening/watching the birds, kayaking, paddle boarding, and enjoying bonfires.

SUMMER:
This vacation home is ideal for bringing your family to enjoy fishing, swimming, playing games, watching sunsets, and making memories. The cottage comes with a dock to tie your boat, and is close by to a boat launch. No boat? No problem! You can rent a boat at American Marine. The land is flat from the house to the water. The water is quite shallow towards the end of the dock, perfect for children to swim in or to sit in with a chair with a cold beverage. We also have two adult kayaks, two kids kayaks (up to 130lbs), a water mat, and two paddleboards for your use. Lawn games are available for shoreside fun! New whole-house air conditioning was installed in the fall of 2024. Individual window AC units (for 2 or 3 bedrooms) are set up on the upper floor in late spring until the end of summer.

YEAR-ROUND:
Enjoy board games/books for all age groups, as well as a dartboard. Located on the south side of Shawano Lake, several grocery stores, restaurants, breweries, casinos, golf courses, ATV/snowmobile trails, bowling, and shopping areas are just a short few minutes away. Indoor electric fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit will keep you cozy any day of the week.

ABOUT THE SPACE:
This 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom retreat offers modern amenities, including a washer and dryer, air conditioning, an electric fireplace, free WIFI, and parking in the grass. Sleeping arrangements cater to various needs, and the fully equipped kitchen ensures convenience.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
Enjoy the fire pit with provided firewood, a water mat for extra fun, kayaks, paddleboards, and a charcoal grill. While there's no boat on-site, the dock is available for those bringing or renting a boat.

WHAT'S PROVIDED:
We don't want to leave you guessing on what you should bring. We provide bed linens, pillows, blankets, and 12 towels. Please bring your own beach towels. We provide a starter pack of essentials, which includes 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. The shower also includes a full dispenser of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but does not include refills. To maintain the health and safety of our guests, all pantry items will be removed between bookings. This means that you should plan to bring any cooking ingredients you might need, such as cooking oils, salt and pepper, coffee grounds and filters, spices, etc.

Cleaned with disinfectant. Check in and check out with no person-to-person contact. All towels and bedding are washed in hot water. High-touch surfaces cleaned with disinfectant (like countertops, light switches, handles, and faucets). We wash ALL bedding - including comforters.


NOTE:
For added security, exterior security cameras are in place, ensuring peace of mind for both guests and hosts. There is a security camera by the front door (year-round) and the back door (only between mid-September and early May).

Personal items left at the cottage may be mailed back upon guest request and payment to cover shipping costs.
