Other than the rooms being very dated (we were on the third floor) staff were pleasant and common areas clean. The hotel is walking distance to the water and other attractions.

The rooms are in need of an update. Our curtains didn’t close fully to block out the morning sun. Everything is old. The parking out front for drop off is very limited and unmonitored. The directions to the parking garage are useless. The staff were not helpful when I called to discuss changes to my booking. First the guy couldn’t find it, then after repeatedly asking for a manager, he asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. I guess asking 4 times wasn’t enough of an indication that I did. The only plus was the mall across the road had a liquor store, Tim Hortons (plus some other food court options) and a cute little breakfast shop with a grumpy old lady running it. The breakfast was good though and reasonably priced. And it’s very walkable to the waterfront area.

unfriendly staff... u can see when my husband mentioned about the toilet bowl thT when you flash it actually leaks a lot pn the left side... her eyes were all pver the place not really paying attention to what we say.. it wil rot the floor if it dont get fixed... we stayed two nights for this hotel ... not see this staff saying good morning.. also my key it doesnt work they say it was because i put it beaide my wallet phone .. still doesnt work... so we just use 1 keys magnetic.. staffs here looks like they got big ego compare to westin bay hotel.. theys shluld learn from them on how they great a guests especially from other province... We stayed here two nights probably wont recommend... an the access of the parking was bad when its your firs time and the frond desk staff are unlnowledgeable on the situation on the parking... their direction is so bad and i call them.. because it didnt give us the ticket and all they say is jusy press intercom.. cant even find it at first... we where very tired already from travelling for 8 hours non stop driovnv and all u get from this hotel is unfriendly front desk staffs and ungrateful too.. without the guests they wont have work too... ither than that hotel needs some updates for sure and their polocy for cleaning and hallway u can smell a bad body odor too... its just that the hotel is on the ehart of downtown halifac thats why we choose to stay here for two nights good thing i didnt extend my stay here...

Upon arriving to the hotel at 3:30pm, we were told that there was not a clean room available and that we would have to wait. While we were waiting a second associate approached us and asked why we were waiting. He very promptly found a “clean” room and got us all checked in. After entering the room, we discovered that on multiple spots of the bathroom counter there seemed to be some sort of grime or scum left, indicating that they were not wiped. Additionally it doesn’t seem that the floors were vacuumed as there was a medication pill sitting on the floor in the middle of the room. The bedsheets were also clearly not changed as there were blood looking stains in multiple spots of the comforter. Overall the cleanliness of the room was poor and not up to standard for any hotel, much less a hotel that charges over $200 a night.

The hotel’s location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the Halifax waterfront, which made exploring the city very convenient. That said, cleanliness could be improved — the carpets were not as clean as expected. While we understand that many hotels no longer provide full daily room service, some basic upkeep such as daily trash removal would have been appreciated, as our trash bin was full by the end of our three-night stay. With a few improvements in cleanliness and basic service, this property could offer a much better guest experience.

We booked this hotel for a two night stay during Buskerfest. Staff were very helpful and the site was in a perfect location. I didn't have a great view but if that was the worst thing, I was very happy

Rooms are mostly clean, had some blood it looked like on my sheets. Our TV didn’t work nor did the fridge in the room. I booked 3 total rooms, 1 had air conditioning and the other 2 did not work. Solid location in Halifax.

The Hotel its self was nice a good central location to downtown. The only problem was understanding a few of the staff memebers. As well , the restaurant has good food but the wait staff, other than one more mature waitress, need to be trained. We al watched the food sit on the warmer for almost 10 minutes and had to wait a long time to even request a bill.
