I was surprised by the furniture being so old. Bed mattresses need to be replaced. You have a rut in it to sleep in. Cobwebs on the ceiling. Good location and the lobby is the best looking. Too bad the rooms haven’t been upgraded abit.

The Barrington is a very tired and dated hotel. The furnishings are from the 90s and our AC didn't even work. We were unable to even open a window. The plus is that it's close to everything downtown Halifax has to offer and it's joined to the covered pedway system.
