The location was great, very convenient and walkable. Transit readily available,lots of restaurants, pubs, shopping etc. The disappointing factors were the lack of free parking, and also parking offsite, no continental breakfast included,the hair dryer broken and the room has seen better days, ripped and patched wall paper,musty smell. There was no mention of having to pay for parking which cost $30 per 24hr period and it was off site a cpl blocks away. Also can't recall the last time a breakfast wasn't included with your stay. For $243 + $30 for parking and no breakfast,for a room in need of updating and replacing it was disappointing. Would not stay here again.

While we were there for 3 nights there was no promised free wifi. On check-in staff has advised there was free wifi. When we tried to access same it didn't work. This was the case during our entire time. When we checked out we learned that staff had put in place an alternate wifi login but never advised us as customers even though we'd asked about this daily.

The wifi did not work for the entire duration of the stay which was the biggest downside. The room was ready 3 hours late which was ok just inconvienent.

Well, to start the women checking me in almost couldn't find my booking, the bedroom was ok, but needs some serious upgrades, there was paint peeling from the ceiling and some spots were dirty, the mirror in the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and the toilet seat squeaked very loudly. Their was no wifi during my stay, and at check out their system was down and couldn't process my checkout, I almost didn't get my $150 damage deposit back. Oh and the carpet in the ice room on the third floor was soaking wet and was very unpleasant to walk on.

What was unique about this property? Check-in is 3pm, I arrive after driving all day at 3:45pm and am told my room is not ready so go walk around and we will call you in 45 minutes when it is ready. No call was ever received so I finally wandered back after 5:30pm to wait in line to try checking in again. No apology, no acknowledgement from the staff, no discount. Seriously, if the room wasn’t ready because nobody cleaned it, don’t lie about it requiring inspection after sneaking off to make a secret phone call with housekeeping. What is the point of claiming it needed to be inspected then giving a dirty room. The hotel is not close to full so give me another room or a free upgrade instead of telling me to take a walk and try again later. Dummies. The hotel is pretty dingy and lives only due to it’s location. Poor service, shabby rooms and run down facilities.

Location is great as the bus to the airport is right in front of the hotel. It is also within walking distance to the ferry, stores and citadel. There was no wifi during the entire duration of the stay. Unsure how long it was down before we checked in and there was no compensation or warning in advance.

Great location but tricky with parking options. Bit of a haul to get to parkade across the street. Friendly staff. Winding hallways made it tricky to come and go easily. Starting to show wear and tear. Worth the location.
