the carpet in our room was very grungy and stained, and the wooden furniture had what seemed to be heat spots. bathroom and bed were clean. rooms are outdated. i would say overpriced for what you are given.

The hotel is well located in the city. It does need some updates for the look and infrastructure. In the restaurant, we saw a mammal running around after hours.

We booked our flight and hotel through Expedia. The flight through Porter was excellent. The hotel Barrington wasn't what we expected. The street in front of the hotel was under construction, so the taxi had to let us off at the top of the street with our luggage. That's no a major problem if you age is not in your mid 70's! We had to do the same thing 5 days later. The hotel was also in the process of changing ownership which left us locked out of the hotel on Oct 2, that was an inconvenience for us. The staff was below average and certainly not helpful. Our room was old and a lot of the outlets were very loose so we didn't use them. They was no daily cleaning of the room. If you needed anything like towels, emptying garbage bins and coffee supplies you had to request it from the reception.

Unfortunately there is construction near the hotel and they were updating their computers. Staff was very unorganized, unhelpful and took forever to check in and out. Also the walk from to get to the hotel was a bit ridiculous due to the construction - my wife had surgery and originally was going to come back to the hotel to rest before getting on the road. There was no way that was going to happen because of the long walk. Disappointing

Pitiful
Booked at 830am. After 3pm they still didn’t have room ready or my reservation. They should indicate that “free parking” is no longer available on this as it’s under construction. I picked this location for parking as I have 2 kids under 3. The room needs to be cleaned up and repaired. Mirrors damaged and bathtub. The wallpaper is peeling. The carpet outside the room is loose from the ground. Asked the staff 3 times for a crib to be put in the room and finally got one at 8pm without sheets for it. The staff needed to be pushed but they were very accommodating. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Needs a major up date.
