My husband I were very disappointed with our stay. When we were checking in, the guy at the front desk was rude to my husband. When we got upstairs to our room there was pee in the toilet still, pee on the toilet seat, and the shower was also dirty. It was disgusting. They did come up and clean it once we called the front desk. When we got back from dinner we noticed that the side door leading to the outside didn’t lock. We went to the front desk to inform that same guy and he responded that he knew it was broken, that it had broken during renovations and they didn’t want to fix it until renovations were over (I didn’t see any renovations taking place). The guy acted very annoyed that we brought it to his attention. When we went to go hot tub the jets didn’t work and the floor around the hot tub was also dirty. There was another couple in the hot tub and we started talking to them. She told us that when they went to went to their room their hotel door was open and their room was also dirty when they arrived. I understand places get worn down from use and get outdated but the cleanliness was awful. The hotel was very dirty and unacceptable. I would never stay here again.

Good breakfast, bad motel service.

The breakfast eleas very good. A nice assortment of breakfast foods. Bread, muffin, bagel and waffles. Eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes. Also juice, coffee , cocoa and tea. Yougert and string cheese and apples. No maid service though. Not enough towels for each guest. Pool was not clean.

Bathroom smelled like vomit, moldy, torn up lampshades, non working coffee maker in room. Worst hotel I've stayed in over 25 years. Way overrated, Experian should be ashamed of representing a hotel in such poor condition. Employees are all new (worked a couple days). Former employees were fired. Was informed this Day's Inn is supposed to be remodeled next month. If rating was accurate, I would have reserved at a different hotel for same rate $240, or paid more. Luckily, only reserved for 1 night.

We arrived at 5:00pm and our room wasn't ready. We had to wait over an hour for it.We are senior citizens and there wasn't an elevator. they couldn't accommodate us on the first floor which meant we had to carry our luggage up a long flight of stairs. There was no one who would help us.

The man at check-in was so friendly - but not over the top weird! Great guy! The woman taking care of the food was SO sweet! She is doing an excellent job! The food was more than I expected with eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt, bagels & cream cheese, and all the other normal stuff at a continental breakfast. The hallways/lobby were quite dingy (they do have a sign up saying they are remodeling but I didn't see much evidence of it) and I was a little nervous what the room would be like, but when we opened the door it was beautiful! So clean and updated and didn't even feel like it belonged to the same hotel! Hands down this place was worth it! And my kids enjoyed the pool (although it would be nice if it was opened at 6am rather than 8am).

The hotel was in shambles due to "improvements", which was fine. They could not give us a king room because we had animals, so were limited to the first floor, which was also fine. However, we were traveling with our baby, so I asked to see the room to make sure the pack and play would fit. He walked down the hall with us, and as soon as i stepped into the room I was hit with a strong cigarette odor. I told [name of general manager redacted due to Expedia policy] this and he shrugged. I asked for a refund and he said we would have to call Expedia. We did, they called [redacted general manager name], and he told them it didn't stink. Expedia refused the refund, and I called [gm, removed] to ask why he lied or if he disagreed with me why he didn't say so in person. He said it was just my opinion. He ultimately hung up on me and I called back and he threatened to call the cops on me and said he would absolutely not allow me to be refunded. Horrible hotel, horrible management, horrible service. I highly recommend staying elsewhere and booking directly after seeing your room.
