Nice hnice hotel with a pool in the shade, which is really needed for hot days. the staff is very nice and service oriented, it helps with everything you need. Recommended if you visit Siam Rep before your visit to Angkor Wat, here you will be well taken care of.otel with a nice pool with shad

This resort was great in almost every way. The walk into town is not long but dodgy as sidewalks are often missing or blocked by something. Our only suggestion is to heat the pool. As the pool is located in a shady area, it was too cool for us to spend as much time in as we hoped.

THE IDEAL STAY! Marida and the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating! From the welcome drinks and snacks, lovely breakfast, easy to book massages, and easy accessibility to pub street and other restaurants, you cannot go wrong staying at the golden temple retreat!

the hotel was well located - 10 min walk to pub street but best of all, it was new but a traditional design with wonderful helpful staff. The breakfast was always good while their amok curry at dinner was delicious. Nice pool and good sized rooms. The hotel were good enough to pick up/ drop off at the new airport as well as arrange all our excursions. It really was a stress free holiday. All the staff were amazing (there is a gratuity box - please use it) but special shout outs to Sofia from front desk, Heng Sinnet the excursion guide and Noy our driver

I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities of this hotel. Big spacious room with large bathroom and a massive bathtub. Has a large long pool to cool down at the end of the day. All the staff were so nice, friendly and super helpful. It’s a shame we could only stay for 3 days but if we ever come back to Siem Reap, this is the only place to stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful and organising tours via the front desk was easy. Food was tasty and the packed lunch particularly good. Spa treatment were good too with one free massage included. It was very hot when we were there and the air con was not quite strong enough, but we were able to borrow a fan. The tv had Netflix etc, but not regular tv channels.

Fabulous stay in Siem Reap
They hype is real -- the Golden Temple Retreat is an absolute gem in Siem Reap. The staff make every effort to learn your name and give you highly personalized attention, so that you feel attended to and cared for at all times throughout your stay. Our room was very nice, and the hotel itself and pool are lovely. The location is ideal as it is only a short walk to the Pub Street area and other restaurants/nightlife/market areas. Highly recommend!

We have just spent two weeks at The Golden Temple Retreat. The hotel is beautiful calm and relaxing. The pool is wonderful and totally refreshing after a day exploring the temples and city. The hotel is in a great place just a short walk from the market and pub street without being too close. Our room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with beautiful sweet fruits and a wide selection of food for everyone. The omelettes were divine. The dinner and lunch menu was good and cooked beautifully. I definitely recommend a massage in the spar. We both had the traditional Khmer massage which was wonderful, and very discreet as we were given a pair of pyjamas to wear throughout the massage, which I totally appreciated. I just wish I hadn’t left it until the day before we were leaving before having it because I felt so comfortable that I would have had a few more. We can’t thank all of the staff enough for the wonderful hospitality and welcoming us to the hotel and making us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Sopheak, Tong, Marida and Mon, for their help and friendship throughout our stay. We really had the best time here. I have never felt so welcome or comfortable as I did at this hotel and in Cambodia ️

Golden Temple Retreat is just that -- a quite, well-staffed retreat in the middle of Siem Reap. We absolutely loved this place. The only negative was some struggle to make the AC work, but the staff was very attentive to our needs and took care of the problem.

The staff we’re very nice. A massage for 2 people is included in your rate and a very nice 3 course lunch as well as return transfers to the airport. They are seriously understaffed so events like happy hour are non existent even though advertised etc. I would rate this at a higher rate but it is seriously overpriced for what you get and the level of service. We paid way too much per night. it is around a $100-120 night experience.

Everything we hoped for and more at this lovely boutique hotel. Extremely friendly and attentive staff always available to assist. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. Every night they brought in a snack. Breakfast was buffet style with International and Khmer options. I highly recommend this hotel.

There are many great things about this property. What standout most is the level of customer service at the hotel. The staff are very engaging and genuinely committed to ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. They always provided a warm welcome when we entered the lobby, greeting us by name, offering cold towels to refresh ourselves. This degree of care is evident at all levels of seniority. The hotel manager is actively interested in guests and personally involves himself in assessing the guests experience, attentive to small details of comfort and service. I cannot speak highly enough of the warmness, friendliness and professionalism of the staff. True masters in quality service. The property itself is charming, relaxing, with lush decorations and charm. The restaurant provides rich variety, entertainment. The rooms are very comfortable with unique decor that is truly spectacular.

Exceptional Hotel Experience
This was our second time staying at The Golden Temple Retreat. Our experience exceeded our expectations starting with the airport pickup all the way through check-in and our room. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet offered so many choices, and the breakfast takeaway option for sunrise was a nice option.The spa was just what we needed as our visit wound down.

Customer service was unbelievable. One of the best Asian hotel we have ever stayed in. You only need to ask and within minutes, someone is there to offer assistance. Especially the manager, who remembered my name and made sure our transfer to the airport was smooth. We’ve never had a manager wave to us as we we’re leaving. Room was huge and the amenities were very nice. Highly recommend!
