Beautiful parador with comfortable rooms and amenities. Staff / service aren’t quite what I would have expected, though — while breakfast is included in the room, if you check in around 4 you won’t be able to get a (required) reservation for breakfast as all times will be booked. Also we tried to reserve a place in their parking garage in advance and were told they would not reserve; when we arrived they had no parking left.

The staff was very friendly! Beautiful castle hotel hostel. I love the court yards and unique medieval designs in the hotel. Many cafes near by and stores for shopping. Spectacular view of the cathedral of Santiago Compestello.

Wow, this is like staying in a museum! Great experience at this hotel next to Praza del Obradoiro. Best location possible. Excellent service overall. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Beware that this is a very old hotel so rooms may look outdated, but they are comfortable. We included breakfast which is buffet style with plenty of choices. Great staff, always helpful and hospitable.

Located in the Plaza do Obradorio right next to the Cathedral. Best location in town. Beautiful old building with lots of charm and full of history. Rooms are charming, like stepping back in time into a castle like environment. Worth the visit, breakfast was delicious.

Aunque solamente nos quedamos en este hotel por una noche ha sido una experiencia inolvidable. Los cuartos son cómodos para dos personas con un baño con bastante espacio. La única cosa sobre los cuartos es que no tienen cama matrimonial y solo dos camas twin que se pueden juntar. El parador tiene unos jardines muy bonitos al igual que unos restaurantes con comida muy rica. Está situado en frente de la catedral y se puede caminar a todas las tiendas y restaurantes en el pueblo. Las vistas son bellas y la gente encantadora. Me encantaría poder volver pronto para conocer el pueblo mucho mejor.

Wonderful place to stay with so much character and history. Location in the square next to the cathedral couldn’t be better. All staff from those operating the valet parking service to front of house and all areas were welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

This place was amazing, the experience is the reason to stay. The rooms, courtyards and location was such an experience in itself. I realized that this was the end of the road for hikers/bikers on their pilgrimage. I have friends who did this but didn’t realize we stayed at the ending point. The food in the restaurant was ok, nothing to write home about but it was downstairs in a lovely area.
