Fantastic 2 days stay in Sigulda
Lovely hotel with good facilities and spacious room. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Staff were nice and very helpful. Would stay at this hotel again only if driving as a 20 minutes walk from Sigulda train station. Leisure facilities were fantastic with pool, jacuzzi, saunas and relaxing loungwith big screen tv. Throughly enjoyed our one night stay.

The hotel is quite new and rooms are large and quite comfortable. However, lack of some basic options was quite annoying - we arrived around 10 pm and couldn’t get neither tea nor beer, let alone some snacks.

Bad Experience All Around
Location is not ideal, but manageable. Rooms were large, but very uncomfortable and outdated. A/C didn't work and the beds we're uncomfortable. Breakfast was included, but not great. Worst of all, another guest briefly walked into our room in the middle of night. We believe the front desk gave them access unintentionally. When we asked in the morning they of course denied it even though our keys were not working. There's a reason this was the only property was the only one left with rooms.

Very nice hotel... but a bit far from town.
The Hotel Segevold is a very nice little hotel with very comfortable rooms and great staff. Everyone we spoke to during our stay was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 10-20 minute walk from Sigulda's train station. It's just far enough to be mildly annoying. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer a shuttle service and cabs are a pain. The hotel's location is just off the main highway and the surrounding area is commercial and semi industrial. That said, it's quiet at night and the hotel itself is nice appointed.

Clean and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice big room and very clean. Good WiFi. Pretty good selection for breakfast. Had dinner there one night and the meal was very good. About 15-20 minute walk from the bus and train stations away from the centre of town.

We stayed just for 1 night. The room was very spacy but with only roof windows. Bed was very comfortable and since the hotel is about 300 m from the main road, relatively calm. Breakfast was rich and fresh but their were many things missing (one moment plates, than cofee, after that eggs, ...) and staff was refilling and reacting very slowly.

Not four stars but a nicer place for the money
It is in an area that is like a back alley in a nondescript area. Area residents don't seem to know much about it so directions not so easy.It IS close to main roads and the place is inviting and room quite nice, clean. Staff tends to be a little passive, but they seem to mean well.

Segevold in Sigulda
Although a good ten minute walk from the bus station, Hotel Segevold was a pleasant surprise with clean comfy rooms, friendly staff, and a modern restaurant with surprisingly good food. Just don't expect a great selection of music while eating. We visited at the start of July and seemed to be two of a total of three guests staying there. Overall a nice comfortable stay at an affordable price.

Nach einen Tag ging die Eingangstür kaputt. Leider wurde das Problem in drei Tagen nicht behoben. Da nur jede Nacht, in der Zeit wo wir dort waren, ca. 6 Gäste übernachteten, war die Bar jeden Abend geschlossen. So mussten wir anderweitig hingehen. Ich habe für die Maßnahme volles verständnis. Aber dann stimmen die Sterne nicht oder der Übernachtungspreis müsste, aus meiner Sicht, ein anderer sein.

Hotelli oli siisti ja kalustus moderni. Sijainti ok, jos on auto. Hotellissa oli jotenkin aavemainen tunnelma - yleisissä tiloissa melko pimeää, emmekä juuri kohdanneet muita asiakkaita. Aamiainen oli jokseenkin karu ja tuotteiden säilytys lämpimässä arvelutti. Huoneen vuoteet ja tyynyt olivat todella epämukavia. Olimme häämatkalla ja kerroimme tämän hotellille varauksen yhteydessä. Eivät muistaneet meitä mitenkään...vaikka eipä tuo toki ole pakollista. Tämä on kuitenkin helppo paikka hotellille tehdä vaikutus!
