Absolutely loved the room location overlooking the river. Very wonderful to walk on the path along the river , wonderful outdoor pool and great complimentary breakfast with made to order omelets. The only reason we have it a 4 rating overall was because the room was dated and the hallways and room smelled very musty. We had to sleep with the slider open to overcome the odor, other than that , would stay there again.

Possibly the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. My room was adjacent to the public bathrooms and banquet facilities. The bathroom door was extremely noisy all night long with people on and out. The walls are so thin I could hear my neighbors clearly. There was a band playing In the banquet room that I could hear in My room. At breakfast by myself the wait staff tried to clear my table before I had a chance to eat. The proximity of the hotel to the greenbelt is the o my redeeming quality.

Well I have mixed feelings about our stay. The hotel is large and a bit of a maze - the map given has printing errors so 1st time it’s easy to get lost. Parking can be challenging as the various lots get full. Breakfast is ok, the made to order omelettes are excellent but the rest is bang average and quite often you have to wait to be seated, on the first day there were 10 people in front of us. It is very busy with conferences going on and lots of people. The free shuttle to downtown is good but the return wait was lengthy - they do say they prioritise the airport runs but when you ring up for collecting from downtown then wait an hour as the shuttle was diverted to an airport run a call to advise of the delay would’ve been nice. The location by the river is nice and the Sandbar patio bar was excellent with great food & live music. The room was nice and the beds comfortable, although initially the TV didn’t work properly - reported it to the front desk as we went out then on our return had to ring down as it hadn’t been fixed, then strangely started working ok. Overall I would sum up the hotel as its trying hard to be upmarket but I feel it’s like an all inclusive resort, it’s like a jack of all trades but master of none. Out of 4 hotels we’ve stayed at on this trip this is definitely No 4 on the list.

It was very loud. The people upstairs sounded like they were throwing furniture around. At 2:30am there were people in the hall screaming and arguing. Walls felt paper thin. We could hear everything in the next room. Worst night’s sleep.

Although I gave them 5 stars in most areas the overall 3 star review is because of the breakfast buffet. The potatoes on the buffet were cold. I mean cold and hard. Then even after I politely let someone know the potatoes were just left in place. I don’t like breakfast buffets to begin with but cold hard nasty food makes it worse.
